Great culture in action! Part of Secure Data's sales team getting together outside of work. As a leader one of the many talks I have is that culture is a two way street. Great culture is absolutely a top down driven "every day" initiative, but to be successful it requires everyone to participate. That responsibility falls on every employee not just the management team. My challenge is what are you doing to personally make culture great at your company? Top down is only successful if everyone cares enough to engage. #Culture #Team #MakeADifference
Our sales team had a great time yesterday at Dogwood Social House for some team bonding! #RedefiningExcellence #TeamBuilding #Sales

I’ve never wanted to get all “Beggy Mitchell” for sales. Christ knows the world is such a mess right now that this sort of stuff seems inconsequential.! No demands for shares or comments or anything like that. But if you feel you want to - I’d appreciate it. 🙌 And remember other businesses that you like - seek them out and let them know you care. Cheers! Recurring Visits by Mooch-Dockers! By: Ernie Lansford Author of The Poetics of Sales. A Sales Rep’s Journey from Tolerated Professional Visitor to Celebrated Partner. Mooch-dockers are full-time RV’ers who roam around looking to camp for free on friends’ or family’s property, most often their office or driveway. They tap into the power and water outlets causing increased energy usage cost to the property owner. All because of implied relationship of friend or family. They should be considered Tolerated Professional Visitors.™ Years ago I allowed mooch-dockers Stubborn and Perfectionism to camp out for a short time. They come and go. Over time they birthed a family named Comfort Zone, Status Quo, Procrastination and Mediocrity. They stopped by for a visit recently and attempted to camp out. I cast them out for this is Spiritual warfare for sure! Please, do not entertain them or allow them to mooch-dock their RV should they stop by because they will drain your power and other resources. “If you are slack in the day of distress, Your strength is limited.”—Proverbs 24:10 “for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.”—2 Corinthians 10:4 Make your day great and S.O.A.R.™ (Serving Others thru Actions & Relationships). Customer Success is The Mission; Valued Vendor is The Goal.™ Cheers EL #customersuccessmastery #businessdevelopment #thepoeticsofsales

Introducing: Tor with the (sales)hammer 🔨 We have another team introduction, a man you might have seen before. Tor Leknes is one of the co-founders of Broadstone and serves today as Head of Sales. He enjoys good food, drinks, good conversation and very short walks on the beach 😎 🤩 What do you enjoy most about working at Broadstone? - What I love most about working at Broadstone is the opportunity to collaborate with people in the travel industry. They're a breed apart, truly unique individuals. These are people who are dedicated to providing others with positive experiences, relieving stress, and helping others shine. They deserve all the support they can get, which is why I'm absolutely obsessed with this industry. It's incredibly fantastic. 👨💻 Who are you at the office? - I'm the guy who dances to loud music at the office (probably why they've put me in my own room 🤪) 🤡 Fun Fact: - I'm a passionate cook and a real food nerd. I thrive on discovering new and amazing flavour combinations. However, despite growing up in a family that owned a fish factory, I've never quite mastered the art of cooking fish. Bonus fun fact: try honey on scrambled eggs... it's surprisingly delicious. #travelindustry #reiseliv #reiselivsbransjen #b2bsales #sales #salg

Anyone who has ever fished for Musky will tell you of its elusiveness. Catching one is a genuine challenge. At Bay MarketForce, we believe the “Musky and the Lure” story is a perfect metaphor for the success we achieve for clients. The Musky is Wisconsin’s state fish and North America’s top freshwater game fish. It’s widely known that because of their size (up to 6 feet & 66 pounds) and elusiveness, to entice one to bite, it may take up to 10,000 casts and days on the water. At Bay MarketForce, a winning prospecting campaign for new customers requires a solid and strategic plan, great data, professional business developers, and continual execution. This is what we do at Bay MarketForce, it’s all we do, and we do it better than anyone else. Once we generate the qualified lead (get a Musky on the line), we pass the pole to our client’s sales team to land. In the coming weeks, we’ll be talking more about strategy. Follow us to learn not only our favorite Musky lures, but also what makes our fishing tactics, on the water and in business, so darned effective. #bulldawg #believer #love2fish #winningcampaigns #baymarketforce

Regional Managing Director @ Beckhoff Automation Singapore | SID Senior Accredited Director | Chairman @ SME Center SMF | Council Member @ SMF | Doctorate candidate @ SMU
Regional sales meetings can be both productive and fun! Our team ended the day with a delicious dinner in Hoi An. As we left the restaurant, it started raining, and we were quickly surrounded by umbrella ladies offering their wares. After some unsuccessful bargaining, we decided instead to seek shelter in a nearby cafe. But, as it turns out, a cup of coffee costs more than an umbrella! Fortunately, our team member Cat Ngo was quick to chase after the umbrella lady and secured us a better deal. Ten minutes later, the rain stopped. 😅 There are a couple of “sales lessons” in this episode. 1. Plan well and be there when the opportunity arises (they are literally squatting at every corner) 2. Be aware of your customer needs, and their alternatives (a cuppa next door) 3. Window of opportunity is limited (10 minutes of rain) 4. Don’t be afraid to walk away when the price is not right 5. Sometimes luck will drop from the sky 6. And being a businessman… Be the one to supply the umbrellas 😉 #salesisfun #beckhoffsea #sesame2023
