PSA to all Media Buyers or Account Managers with a media buying background in North or South America! The #1 thing that sucks about agencies is when the owner hires a random junior person that's replacing him in meetings. Or it could even be someone senior, but they just don't care like the owner did. So I'm not hiring for an employee. I'm hiring for a partner. Someone who can build & grow this business with me. Someone who will get 15% of the entire business (in revenue share). I'm looking for a Director of Accounts & Media Buying to own client relations & lead the media buying team. How are we different from a typical agency? You might ask. I quit my 9-5 alongside my business partner/fiancée to start this agency (https://www.nogrowth.ca/) in January of 2023. 14 months later, we have a full-time team of 12 (including myself) and over 20 clients. We were successful because we built a place that’s actually enjoyable to work at. I genuinely think that work is fun, but it’s the BS that comes with work that makes it dreadful and what burns people out. My goal is simply to build an agency where people are not burdened by the typical BS of corporate work culture, do some challenging & meaningful work, all while being generously compensated. You’ll enjoy: -Only work with great clients. We actually have the backbone to fire the toxic ones. -Working and learning alongside a world-class team of copywriters, editors, and actors to make amazing ads -40-hour work weeks. We like burning out our candles, not our people Application link in the comment 👇

attn Canadian content marketers (especially GTA/Torontonians): How To SaaS is hiring for two content roles! For those of you who haven't heard of us, we're a marketing consulting firm, typically brought in by PE firms to help their portfolio companies develop their marketing strategy. The first role is more junior. You'd be working on marketing HtS as a company with Kate Hawkes and Gordon Cheng, focusing on our social media presence + podcast promotion and outreach: https://lnkd.in/dnkixB8T The second role is externally focused, and part of the team I'm on / I still do some of this work, and would be training you on how to do it instead. You'd be working with clients to develop their content marketing strategy as a part of the larger marketing strategy we recommend: https://lnkd.in/djZqEmU3 The most important thing to note about this role is that we're not an agency, so it's not about writing all the content — it's more about doing detective work to figure out what a company is currently doing + what they should be doing instead 🕵🏼♀️ I'm not the hiring manager for either role, but I would be part of the interview process for the second/we'd be working together very closely if you were hired, so can definitely give a lot more context on the pros and cons of that role in particular if desired!
We're Hiring: Content & Social Media Coordinator
