During the interactive workshop, team members completed three challenges and used the ABCDE framework to identify and remedy teamwork issues. This enabled team members to actively explore and comprehend the distinctions between Growth Mindset and Fixed Mindset. Oh O'Hare airport....you have the power to enable and deny. On this week's addition, a missed opportunity to connect in person. Recently, I missed an onsite client meeting due to cancelled flights. This was going to be an occasion where our dispersed team would gather in person. There's a certain magic to face-to-face interactions, the camaraderie forged over shared meals and moments. Although really frustrated that tornado watches prevented my travel, I'm grateful for the flexibility of virtual collaboration. While it's not quite the same as sitting across a dinner table, it still fosters connection and collaboration. The ability to engage, albeit through screens, keeps our team spirit alive and our goals aligned. Team building isn't just about proximity; it's about fostering trust, understanding, and synergy among team members, regardless of physical distance.
