Threads | Web App 💻 As of last month, Threads’ most highly requested feature was officially rolled out: a web app. According to experts at TechCrunch, this development could be “a potential game-changer for those still trying to make the shift from Twitter/X.” Indeed, whilst offering less features than the Threads mobile app, web access allows journalists and publishers to be more active on the platform, meaning it could be a huge step towards facilitating wider engagement. This seems like a high priority for Threads; despite being the fastest app ever to reach 100 million users, recent reports indicate that the platform’s weekly usage dropped by as much as 79% in August. So, whilst the web app is certainly an improvement, the general consensus indicates that major developments are still necessary if Threads is to remain relevant. #SocialMedia #DigitalAdvertising #Threads #X
