Hello and Happy Birthday!
Yes, it is my birthday. I used to put out a list of thoughts every year that matched my age. It eventually became too long. Which is a good thing! Lol
First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to you. Thank you for your friendship, for following me through the years, and the opportunity to work with many of you.
As I celebrate another trip around the sun, I reflect on the biggest lessons I've learned over the past year. Truthfully, it's one of them I've always known, but it has played out differently this year.
The power of small, steady steps forward has been a guiding principle in my life. Rather than relying on giant, dramatic leaps forward, I've found that consistent, incremental progress - what I call "Perpetual Forward Motion" - is the key to a happy and successful life.
At any given moment, I'm either moving towards or away from success, happiness, peace, joy, goals, and sobriety. Perpetual Forward Motion means I'm constantly making small adjustments and taking steps in the right direction. It's not about massive, overnight transformations but about the accumulation of gradual improvements over time.
As I've gotten older, I've simply become more aware of this ebb and flow and how it plays out over time.
It's easy to get caught up in the big picture and feel discouraged when we don't see immediate results. But I've long understood that if I'm leaning in and moving forward daily, even in small ways, I can trust that I will achieve the more significant milestones I'm striving for. Just as important, I will have a great day.
I wish you one good day after another. May each one have the forward motion that brings you whatever you desire. All it takes is one step after another.
