TL;DR - We launched our Alpha & I wrote a blog post about what we're building and why, I hope you find it interesting As most of your know, for the past few years I have been dedicated to making AI more accessible through education, social media, and building easy to use tools. I believe in order to make the best, most human, AI powered tools for the future we need a platform that has: 1. An accessible, inherently collaborative development interface 2. A super easy way to get these tools in the hands of people who can use them Since being promoted to VP of AI last year, my team and I have been pushing non-stop towards making this platform a reality... That's why I'm really excited to announce the Alpha launch of our new platform Salt AI. 😊 With built in: • Visual interface that makes collaborating cross functionally with engineers, designers, and product manager WAY easier • One click deploy to Discord - making it a breeze to get your workflow in the hands of tens of thousands of people in our server & millions across others • A foundation laid to compensate developers who make tools that many people use this is a big step towards making that vision a reality. I wrote up a whole blog post about it below and you can hop into our Discord server today to test some of the flows devs have made already. If you are a ComfyUI developer, we have free GPU's for you to test our the Alpha; it will be rough but hop in Discord to share some feedback. Stay tuned because this is just the beginning. We have more coming out soon, especially targeted at people who want to get into building and using AI tools but don't know where to start! Stack Overflow announced OverflowAI, their roadmap for integrating generative AI into Stack Overflow 🚀 💡 Stack Overflow introduces semantic search using a vector database for more intelligent search results. Results can be personalized and any gaps that AI cannot address can be filled by attributing and citing responses from a vast knowledge base. 🔎 Enhanced search will extend to Stack Overflow for Teams, allowing users to find answers and knowledge across platforms. Sources like Stack Overflow for Teams, Confluence, and GitHub will be used for accurate solutions. 🚀 OverflowAI will introduce an enterprise knowledge ingestion feature for Stack Overflow for Teams. The engineering landscape is changing. Every engineer is becoming an AI engineer. What was previously limited to specialists in the field of ML is now accessible to everyone through simple and powerful APIs. This shift is exciting, but with it comes the need for new tools.
