Two-thirds of American workers say they feel at least moderately burned out by their #jobs. Fortunately, there’s a solution, and it’s hiding in plain sight: travel planning. In my experience there are two types of vacation travelers in this world: The ones who plan, and the ones who talk about traveling but never get around to actually doing it. According to Destination Analysis, more than 90% of Americans believe it’s important to use their annual paid time off to travel, and 79% believe that taking a break from #work is important to their physical and mental well-being. Yet every year survey results show that vacation days go unused. Those who plan a vacation in advance are 75% more likely to take it than those who don’t. Finding ways to disconnect from the demands and stresses of the “real world” has never been more important. For me, that means taking on new challenges with my children to build self confidence like climbing a rock wall. No matter what you choose to do, plan it out. Work with a #travel company, get better rates in advance, pack the right stuff, and give yourself something to look forward to. Take that vacation.

Saira Malik Planning a vacation is helpful in another way — you start living into that future. Say you know you're going to the Bahamas next week, I bet you'll be more productive, happier, and excited each day leading up to the vacation.
Two weeks ago flights were delayed for a few hours at Chicago O’Hare due to bad weather. I passed the time chatting to other passengers sharing our experiences of travelling. Using your vacation time to travel creates lifelong memories of happiness.
True that Saira Malik. It's been something I have done for almost 10 years now. Its actually a project we look forward to as a family.
It's surprising how many vacation days go unused. Let's change that mindset and prioritize our time off. What destination is next on your travel bucket list?
Always use your time off! We all need to rechange to be sure we can show up best at work or for the people most important to us.
That's true Dreams require action too! Saira Malik

2wMy perfect vacation is lying flat on my bed. It is pure bliss. I tried traveling but on the roads, I constantly worry about things like will I make to the air port on time? What happens if the flight is cancel? How can I bring all these luggages and essentials? Where do I do my laundry ect. Lying flat on your bed on the other hand requires zero preparation. There is no need to plan, no reason to be anxious. You can literally lie there and stare at the ceiling all day, worry free. Let your mind wonder. For better result, it is better to lie flat on an open rooftop, submerge in the sunshine and staring at the cloud. It works wonder for your mental health and relieving stress. This is not satire btw. This is literally my ideal vacation.
