Vendor due diligence can be challenging. Increasing compliance requirements mean it’s more important than ever especially for those working with ad tech vendors. The battle of assessments doesn’t make it easier. The sending company has their favorite version. The receiving company gets a growing stack of similar but different quesitons. Fortunately, there’s a solution: The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has teamed up with SafeGuard Privacy to develop the IAB Vendor Diligence Platform. You are now responsible for your vendors. The story is no longer just, “What did I do wrong?” It goes beyond that. ★ Leadership buy-in is essential. Privacy needs to come from the top down.  ★ Best practices: You must be able to tell a compliance story and show progress. It doesn’t have to be perfect! ★ Best practices: New technology can make you more effective and efficient throughout the process.
