Part of the journey is the end... After nearly 10 years at #qualtrics, I've made the decision to step back and embark on a new journey. Words cannot do justice to how fortunate I've been to be part of a ride that few get to experience professionally, a rocket ship in the truest sense. From <$100m in revenue and 350 people, to 3 incredible exits and where we are today, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for so many who collectively made a journey like this possible. A lot can be said about the story written and the outcomes, but what matters most are the individuals who built brick by brick, and the relationships and experiences we created to last a lifetime. In an effort to create and scale a category #experiencemanagement , we simultaneously created an unforgettable human experience for our teams. Nobody can take that away and I am so grateful to have participated in some small way. Qualtrics is positioned for continued growth and excellence, and I'm excited to watch it grow to new heights. There are way too many people to thank individually. THANK YOU to each one of you. To the teams I had the joy of being a part of (Customer Success, Global Services, Customer Experience, Customer Value, GTM Operations, Strategy, Global Sales), I have learned and grown so much from all of you. It has truly been a global experience. We made a lot of mistakes along the way, but we stuck together and created something lasting. To all our teammates, customers, and partners who believed in us and are still transforming experiences across your enterprises and organizations, Thank You. There are many more stories to be written. I'm excited for what the future holds. More to come on that front, but for now, Goodbye Qualtrics. 

As I turn the page on 2023, it's with a mixture of emotions that I announce my departure from Qualtrics after an enriching 2.5 years. Leaving is never simple, and my stay here has been a journey of immense growth. From navigating the stream of ideas and demands to contributing to the ever-evolving field of Experience Management, my time at Qualtrics has felt like a whirlwind of learning and helping customers and co-workers. It's been a place where coffee breaks were less about the coffee and more about sparking the next big idea in CX. Though it's difficult to leave I am excited for what the future holds. As I step into my new adventure, I carry with me not just the knowledge and experiences, but also the spirit of innovation and friendship that is the hallmark of Qualtrics. I eagerly anticipate staying connected with the friends and collaborators who have made my time here unforgettable. I am energized by the grit, talent, and energy of our Qualtrics Edge teams globally. Last week, I was in Mexico City, where over 70 brilliant new team members have joined us in just five months, expanding our global footprint across more than 10 offices. They are joining forces with the rest of the team, working with thousands of brands that rely on Edge to deeply understand consumer needs and preferences, identify market opportunities, and build their product development strategies. We are also building on this strength and reimagining how organizations make critical decisions in the AI age. We are effectively building a brain filled with knowledge gained from studying more consumer, employee, and market trends than any other in the world. This brain will consider the whole human experience, not just a siloed one within a single organization. It is already helping leaders in select verticals answer daily business questions through AI-generated insights surfaced from a combination of real-time behavioral, operational, and experiential data. The future is bright.

🎉 Celebrating 6 Incredible Years at Qualtrics 🎉 6 years ago, I made a significant life and career change by moving my young family from Pittsburgh to Dallas to join Qualtrics, marking what has now become a pivotal 30% segment of my 20 year journey in sales. It's amazing to reflect on the tremendous growth both for myself, my family, and Qualtrics. Joining the Employee Experience team in 2018, I had the privilege of collaborating with an exceptional manager and friend, Preston Butler. Together, we pushed our own boundaries and drove the mission of enhancing how organizations engage with their employees. I spent 3.5 years leading our Employee Experience enablement strategy; I’ve had a front-row seat to the introduction of groundbreaking products, ambitious global expansion, and navigating the complex challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. Working with Mary (Prendergast) Gregg, Craig Cusick, Steve Bennetts, and James Killian, Ph.D. was a blast! I got to collaborate and learn from Brad Anderson, Jay Choi, Sarah Marrs, Wojtek Kubik, and our amazing product team to enable our sellers on so many projects. Thank you for your partnership. Laura Russell and Laura Holmes helped me shape my career and enabled to me travel the world (sometimes not on Zoom...) training reps about the ways we can help our customers adapt to the new world of work. These experiences were not only about growth but about adapting and thriving in changing tides. Returning to the sales team under the leadership of Kate Berman has been nothing short of inspiring. Kate’s dynamism and forward-thinking approach have enriched my professional journey, reigniting my passion for sales with renewed vigor. A heartfelt thanks to all the amazing customers and partners I’ve had the fortune to work with. Your trust and collaboration have made these past six years incredibly rewarding. At the XM conference, I loved Prantik's session, particularly his sharing of the 4Ps derived from Behavioural Sciences. So what are the implications of the 4Ps for market research industry? Process: How can we make research as easy as possible? Easy for respondents and clients alike? Possibility: What if we meet them where they already are and not ask them to come to us? No need for downloading new apps or signing up on unfamiliar websites. Let's take inspiration from the time-tested traditional research methods like door-to-door or telephonic surveys. Persuasion: Research doesn't have to be boring or cumbersome for respondents. Currently, only ~5% of research questions tap into System 1. By focusing on System 2 questions, we exhaust respondents quickly and numb their brains. Let's strive for a balance. Personal: Can we ensure that all our questions are relevant to the respondents? Let's build-in a level of personalisation that adapts based on each individual. By doing so, we'll make respondents feel that the questionnaire was designed for them and improve quality of responses. My biggest lesson building Qualtrics to an $8 Billion valuation: Focus on your customers above all else. Product teams often get caught up in daily firefighting. And as a result? They lose sight of the big picture. A year goes by and they realize very little has changed. The most successful teams have a culture of customer obsession. Every innovation starts with why? What problem does this solve? And the team finds a way to solve customer problems every sprint or cycle. That's what it takes to win. The hard truth? Your product is only as good as the customer needs it fulfills. Everything else is just noise. How to keep your product team customer-centric: → Find a way to solve new customer problems every sprint or cycle → Align your teams around clear, customer-centric goals → Create a culture of customer obsession → Start every innovation with why? Remember, your job isn't to build features. It's to solve problems and create value for your customers.

Nothing beats meeting clients face-to-face and nerding-out 🤓 on all-things #ProductMarketing. 5️⃣ Getting to see my #Gartner analyst colleagues in real-life 🙌 Huge thanks to our conference chairs, David Yockelson and Adrian Lee, for putting together a world-class event.
