Flying home from a packed couple of days at Shoptalk. A few thoughts in the video, but here is why I am feeling so bullish 💪 💪 about what Fetch is solving… Brand Marketers are tasked with growing the number of total brand buyers (HHLD Penetration). While advertisers will spend 2x more on Retail Media (RMNs) than TV in the next few years, one of the challenges discussed by brand marketing leaders at Shoptalk is that a “new-to-brand” buyer at Retailer A (attributed to activation on RMN A) can easily be an existing brand buyer at Retailer B, and there’s no way to measure across. Because Fetch sees almost 90% of user purchase behavior across all retailers, our activations can drive growth in TOTAL brand buyers across retailers, and measure it. #Retailmedia #CPGmarketing #Growthlaws

This year's Shoptalk came and went in the blink of an eye! Now that we've hosted our VIP Retail Media Dinner with Particular Audience and Qsic, sponsored the Path to Purchase Institute's Retail Media OG Party, attended numerous insightful sessions and enjoyed a few spicy margaritas 🌶 with our peers, we've departed the Las Vegas Strip and are ready to reflect! Our top three takeaways: 1️⃣ Despite ongoing tension with the US government, TikTok showed up in a big way and debuted enhanced commerce features. We predict more RMNs will leverage the platform, as Threefold already has, to reach consumers along their shopping journey. 2️⃣ AI will drive efficiencies and streamline processes across retail. For retail media, it will help enable the personalized shopping experiences that consumers crave, driving sales for brands and repeat investment for retailers. 3️⃣ Retailers are continuing to realize the only path forward is omnichannel, and they must marry their digital and in-store strategies. We've been banging the drum 🥁 on the store for over a decade. For the rest of 2024 and beyond, we anticipate greater retailer focus on the store, offering huge retail media potential for brands.
