What I remember the most about 9/11... I remember how, for a brief moment in time, our differences faded into the background. People from all walks of life, regardless of their backgrounds or beliefs, came together to support one another. We were united by a shared sense of grief, shock, and a profound understanding of our interconnectedness as human beings. Firefighters, police officers, first responders, and ordinary citizens demonstrated extraordinary acts of heroism. We saw countless acts of kindness and compassion, from volunteering at Ground Zero to offering a helping hand to strangers. Our nation's resilience and spirit shone brightly. In the face of tragedy, we found strength in unity. It serves as a powerful reminder that, regardless of our differences, we can come together to support and uplift one another during the most challenging times. If only we could spend more time focused on what we have in common, cherishing our shared humanity, and supporting one another through our differences. By coming together, we can not only remember the unity of that fateful day but also build a brighter future where progress is born from compassion and understanding.

Great post, and an interesting perspective on time management in the workplace! It's essential to value punctuality and be accountable for our time. Deducting a day's salary for being just 1 minute late might seem harsh to some, but it underscores the importance of respecting schedules and commitments. On the other hand, the idea of not rewarding employees for staying back late is worth pondering. While dedication and putting in extra effort are commendable, it's crucial for organizations to strike a balance between rewarding extra time spent and ensuring employees maintain a healthy work-life balance. Perhaps, instead of just focusing on extra hours worked, companies can consider recognizing and rewarding employees based on their overall performance, productivity, and the quality of work delivered. This way, employees feel motivated to excel without compromising their personal time. Ultimately, fostering a culture of appreciation and fairness can lead to a more engaged and content workforce. Let's encourage open discussions on this topic to find a balance that benefits both employers and employees alike. Peace is better than war Real and lasting victories are victories of peace, not victories of war. Establishing lasting peace is an educational work. To achieve it, we must move away from war. Therefore, peace is more important than justice. Peace was not created for the sake of justice, but on the contrary, justice was created for the sake of peace. Let us be advocates of peace and reject violence, wars and killing
