I used to get caught up in getting it all done. There was always more to do and I thought if I could just work harder or work smarter, I would feel better. I would feel accomplished. But I just never got there. What I didn't realize, was that it would never be done. Celebrating was something I only did for the huge gains which did not happen very often. So I didn't cultivate those feelings of joy. I learned over time that celebrating your wins more frequently brought more joy to my life. So celebrate more often. You did great this week. Give yourself a pat on the back and find a way you can celebrate today. 🎉 🥂 Do something that brings you joy. 🔵 Have a picnic. You can do this at a park, at the beach, in your own yard, or even your own living room. 🔵 Cook a special meal. Doing this with friends or your kids can be fun. 🔵 Garden. Being outside, close to nature, and having something beautiful to look at when you are done can be a very joyful activity. 🔵 Explore your neighborhood. Just wander. You never know what treasures you will find. 🔵 Or just have a dance party. It's important to celebrate. It's important to cultivate those good feelings as much as you can. You are important! So, make it your purpose today to celebrate you.

NALSAR | Razorpay | Senior Coordinator of Media and Public Relations cell | IPM Sports Committee Representative | Case Competition Winner/National finalist- XLRI, IIT M, IIM C, MICA
Around one year ago, I was a mere 12th-grade graduate who was facing the lingering after-effects of the pandemic pandemonium. In my first week of DoMS NALSAR (Business School of NALSAR), I was introduced to a variety of cells and clubs, pondering the right fit. Back then, I was filled with a profound sense of intimidation about competing amongst so many bright minds! I was caught wondering, “I’ve barely accomplished anything the past 2 years because of the lockdown, am I still good enough?” Well, one year later I stand confident by achieving just the tip, of the iceberg that is to come: 📌 National Finalist in prestigious #Marketing competitions hosted by Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Krea University. 📌 Published an article in Indian Institute of Management, Shillong's Annual Magazine. 📌 Successfully completed three enriching internships under Lv Prasad Eye Institute: globally renowned NGO, What a Story: produced videos for 600+ brands worldwide, and Kapatkar Educational Society: empowering 400+ schools across South India. 📌 Member of the #sponsorship committee for ZERA_2023, securing partnerships with brands including Telangana Today and Beardo. 📌 Joined the NALSAR band. 📌 Member of the Sports committee and stood first in Throwball as well as Basketball in NALSAR’s annual sports fest. All of this is to emphasize the spark ignited by my first college win: becoming a junior coordinator for the Media and Public Relations Cell, DoMS NALSAR, a role I'll always cherish. So suffice it to say, all the overthinking about peer #competition and #achievements, rendered to be useless. After completing nearly a year at #MPRC, I look back at what being a part of this cell has given me. Not only has it lit the spark of being a marketing enthusiast, but I’ve also learned a lot from my team Manavika Sharma, Nishita N, Ayush Nigam, Priyanshi Nagpal, Ishika Garg, Escandita Tewari, Sneha Jain, Varsha Kandati and I'm excited to work with the new members, Gundabattini Preetham and Sanjana Sarsam. All of this wouldn’t have been possible without the able guidance of our faculty mentors Vivek sir and Deepti ma'am. From refreshing the official website for admission results to implementing enhancements for the same website, it really feels like a full-circle moment. Being at MPRC challenges me to think creatively and this relentless #ideation, alongside the collaborative efforts of Manavika and myself, has culminated in an 80,000+ #reels viewership across Instagram and LinkedIn platforms. This journey of #growth continues and as I step into the role of the Senior Coordinator of the cell, I’m looking forward to working with the new juniors and seeing what their creative minds have in store! So, take that leap of faith and ignore that annoying voice that tells you otherwise. It'll pop up sometimes but, shake it off so you have space for a head full of dreams :) Sorry for the preachy-ness but hey, it’s LinkedIn so gotta do what you gotta do.
Time flies when you're making remarkable strides! This month, we celebrate one year of laasya rayaprolu being an invaluable member of the MPRC family. Many more such milestones to come. 🎉

Sometimes, letting the engineering team speak to the real problems can motivate the client towards real solutions. This whole notion of sales teams and engineering teams not being on the same page is a problem that I continually have to solve for companies, when brought in to handle "system issues". Sales teams provide feedback for engineers on the customer experience, and defines the fiscal opportunity/risk. Engineering teams provide insights to sales on design decisions, scheduling, known solutions, and should be the metric for a businesses productivity levels. It's very common for sales and engineering teams to not be on the same page, and the worst part of it is the number of companies who are okay keeping these skeletons in the closet - because who wants to take responsibility for the problem when it's you? #engineeringproblems #technicaldebt #brokencode #spaghetti #cicd #mismanagement #guidelines #regulations #procedures #mobileapp #softwaredeveloper

Christmas of 1971 was the first Christmas I celebrated at home with Ann. Ann and I were married in March of that year and had just moved to California from Florida. Bada Din Mubarak was the way Indian said Merry Xmas when I was growing up. Bada Din- meaning the big day- was the British way of explaining Xmas to Indians. We celebrated most of Christmases after Excelan went Public in 1987 on holidays; initially on Cruise ships in Caribbean and then in warmer climes like Hawaii and such. This was the first year when our daughter hosted the family for a nice dinner at her place. Finally felt that torch has passed to the next generation!

CEO & Co-founder Silver Talkies; Co Author of Rethink Ageing - Lessons in Ageing from Older and Bolder Generation
Some dates are always special such as today, the date when we launched Silver Talkies Club six years ago in 2018, based on the inputs from attendees of our events. They wanted to meet more often, know their co-participants better and have more fun and engaging opportunities. Hence Silver Talkies Club was born in a time and age when active ageing, loneliness and isolation among older adults were not spoken about or discussed much in our country. I was in fact told by many peers that I was playing in a small niche field. Fast forward to 2024, almost every new player in the senior care space is looking at addressing similar issues with similar models. Did we start too early or did they start too late? I think it is immaterial for as they say that all's well that ends well. What is most heartening for me is to note that in the pic below all the people who became members in 2018 are still members in 2024, with the exception of one member whom we lost a few months ago. Six years of relationship still doing strong! So we must be doing something right:) Cheers to healthy ageing! #olderadults #activeageing #seniorcare #healthyageing #anniversary
Six incredible years have flown by, and today we're celebrating a remarkable milestone - Happy 6th Anniversary to the Silver Talkies Family! A heartfelt shoutout to each and every one of our amazing members who've been with us since day one, your support and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind our journey. While we celebrate our triumphs, we also remember our dear friend and pioneer member, Arun Bhatia, whose spirit continues to inspire us every day. And a special mention to Akila Krishnakumar, our beacon of wisdom and guidance, thank you for being our mentor and advisor throughout this incredible journey. Here's to many more years of laughter, learning, and cherished memories together!

Congratulate, Celebrate, Be Happy for Others, Love for others what you would love for yourself. 👏🏻 In our fast-paced, achievement-driven world, it’s easy to get caught up in our own successes and goals. But taking a moment to congratulate others can have a profound impact—not just on those we acknowledge, but on ourselves as well. From personal experience, I’ve found that congratulating others brings a sense of fulfillment and connection. It shifts our focus from competition to collaboration, reminding us that success is not a zero-sum game. Every “Congratulations!” we extend is a step towards building a more inclusive and motivating community. So, the next time a colleague reaches a milestone, a friend lands a new job, or someone you know achieves something great, take a moment to celebrate with them. You’ll be surprised at how much it enriches both their journey and yours. 🚀
