Great to be back in a (dog friendly) office. Even better, when it's on your own terms. Still makes me laugh the amount of people who cane office life, not sure why really - for "engagement" would be my guess. I've definitely adapted to WFH, but it took some time. However having an office on my doorstep again has been a real touch. Even back in the day when Usurpo were a client of mine 5 years ago, they were a hybrid-thinking business. The guys understood school pick-ups/drop offs, dog walking, sports and other hobbies were important to people. "We treat people like adults" an overused expression, but one I can hand on heart say is true here. Want to head to an office? Great! Want to work from home? Cool! Want to work from a coffee shop? No dramas! Work from where you're comfortable. For crying out loud are we really still having this debate!? So why have I nibbled? For engagement mostly... Is the dog relevant? Nah, also for engagement tbh. Anyway, I'm hiring* - adults mostly - if you've got experience recruiting sales, marketing, customer success or pre-sales into tech businesses, I'd like to speak to you. *You MUST pass the sniff test from Mabel (pictured). #hiring #recruitment #dogfriendlyoffice

As my Greenhouse Software journey comes to an end, I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on the nearly decade (!!) I’ve spent building this amazing company… When I joined 8 years ago, I didn’t know much about Greenhouse, but witnessed the impact that great hiring can have — both on the individual and the organization — and I went all in on their mission. Fast forward to today… I’ve been lucky enough to witness so many Greenhouse highlights - the big deals, revenue milestones, acquisitions, funding rounds, presidents club trips, office moves, etc. The moments that stand out the most, though, were all about the people: It’s the candidate I’d been pursuing for years calling to tell me they’re all in, or seeing the one I took a chance on hiring getting their first promotion, or muscling through hard times and watching the team rally together and lean on each other, or realizing that coworkers have become family and watching them start families of their own. Thank you to all of the people who gave me PURPOSE over the last 8 years - far too many to name but you know who you are. So, as my Greenhouse journey comes to an end, I still come back to this: If you can hire the best people, and really invest in their success - EVERYONE wins. It only felt right that the next step of my journey be a continuation to fulfill that mission. I’m excited to lead Rev Ops at Instawork, revolutionizing the labor marketplace space.
