We have two ways to keep you busy at AWS Summit NYC on July 10. First, be sure to stop by our booth (#813) and stay for a demo, talk Redis, or grab some swag. Next, be sure to watch our afternoon session with Simplr about how it used Redis' vector database and Amazon Bedrock to build AI into its customer service offerings. We'll show how Simplr built an AI troubleshooting agent that uses predictive analytics and can personalize each customer's experience. See for yourself how fast feels.

It's #Current23 Week! Here are 5 talks we're psyched out of our minds about: 1️⃣ 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐫 by Tim Berglund. Sure, Pinot might compete with ClickHouse and StarTree with Tinybird, but Tim is 🔥 and he's touching on a very important point we can all agree on: The world of data is getting a real-time upgrade, and your customers will benefit most. 2️⃣ 𝐄𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐲𝐟𝐭 by Rakesh Kumar. Any time you get to experience how a large company like Lyft 🚘 is solving complex challenges in streaming and real-time data, you listen up. 3️⃣ 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐀 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞: 𝐀𝐧 𝐀𝐖𝐒 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐃𝐚𝐲 by Confluent and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This one is gonna be FUN 👾. We'll be able to get our hands dirty and actually build something, and gaming analytics is such a 🌶️ topic right now. 4️⃣ 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝: 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐞? 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐞? by Amanda Gilbert. We've learned a thing or two about scaling Kafka consumers, and scale is always on our minds. Go big or go home, right? 📈 5️⃣ 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐂𝐃𝐂 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 by Yaroslav Tkachenko and Xiao Meng. Love a good technical talk from somebody who's done the thing 👨🏻💻, and we're big fans of Yaroslav's work. Should be great. Thanks Confluent for hosting. See y'all tomorrow!

Hey everyone. Long time no demo! A lot of new features landing this week. Two big ones are: 1. AWS Bedrock support 2. Side by side model comparisons The last month has been a whirlwind of new models dropping, and rather than guessing at all the public benchmarks, you can now run benchmarks on your existing datasets! A big enabler for this is our AWS Bedrock connection, which gives you on demand access to 28 new inference models. And with Omni, you can do a side by side run to figure out which models perform the best for exactly your use case. We're planning on releasing more comparison tools in the next few weeks, so let me know what type of model benchmarks you'd like to see and we'll make it happen!

My colleague Andrew Baptist will be taking the stage at AWS re:Invent to demonstrate how CockroachDB can help enterprises of all sizes remove performance bottlenecks, scale globally while maintaining data locality, and survive virtually any type of outage. If you want to learn about architecting mission-critical applications and get a deep dive into #distributedSQL, don't miss this speaking session if you plan on attending #AWSreInvent.
