Square peg, round hole.
If you don't feel like you fit, find a company that embodies your values.
Company culture is important, and you deserve a place where you can be yourself.
At our offsite in October, lots of people brought their water bottles. Only one of them belonged to me.
It generated a lot of conversation. Many people wanted one just like it.
But there is only one ME, just like there is only one YOU.
Did I mention we're #hiring ? 😁
In what ways do you bring a little personality to your work?

🚀 Thriving in the Fast Lane with Monday.com 🚀
Hello LinkedIn community! Today, I'm excited to share a glimpse into the engine that powers our team's success and drives our client solutions: Monday.com.
As a company deeply invested in workflow optimization, we've not only adopted Monday.com as our operational backbone but also as the cornerstone of the solutions we build for our clients. This tool has become a game-changer, transforming how we work and collaborate.
🌟 Empowering Our Team: At the heart of our workflow management is the autonomy Monday.com provides to each team member. It's inspiring to see our team members take the reins, crafting innovative solutions with the freedom and flexibility this platform offers. This autonomy isn't just about getting tasks done; it's about fostering a culture of trust and responsibility, where every idea is valued and every voice is heard.
🔍 High-Level Updates, Zero Clutter: One of the most striking features of Monday.com is how it streamlines communication. With this tool, we've bid farewell to the chaos of over-notification. Updates are crisp, relevant, and targeted. This ensures that while everyone is informed, they're only alerted to what's necessary. It's like having a personalized news feed for work!
🤝 Collaboration Made Simple: Monday.com has redefined our collaboration process. It's fascinating to see different minds come together on a single platform, each contributing uniquely to a task. This seamless collaboration has not only improved our project outcomes but also strengthened our team dynamics.
🚫 Say No to Micromanagement: With Monday.com, we've shifted gears from micromanagement to macro success. Our leaders have more time to focus on strategic growth and culture-building, rather than getting caught up in the minutiae of day-to-day tasks. This shift has been pivotal in making our workplace one of the most empowering and fulfilling environments.
💡 Building a Better Workplace: The impact of Monday.com extends beyond just workflow management. It's a catalyst for a positive and productive company culture. Our team feels more empowered, engaged, and aligned with our core values. We're not just working; we're thriving together.
In conclusion, Monday.com isn't just a tool for us; it's a partner in our journey towards excellence. It has enabled us to focus on what truly matters - our people, our culture, and our clients.
As always Richey LLC is here to help you customize your Monday.com solution so it can work as well for you as it does for us!

We might not have a Golden Globe but we have something better.
We’re one of Built In's “Best Places to Work” in New York, Miami, Colorado, and Chicago. We’ve come a long way from that one small office in New York, and we want to dedicate this to our monday.com people. Our culture of ownership and transparency would just be words on the page without the people who bring this to life every day.

Last week I took a great brief from a Client for a new role they're recruiting for.
One of the things that stood out to me was the way they described the culture of the business.
It wasn't the typical descriptions of culture that you might think of - they didn't brag about Friday pizza days and their 'work hard play hard' mentality.
They spoke about the culture of support they've created and the opportunity for career growth.
They said they're realistic that this new hire isn't going to be with the business forever... and that's a good thing.
Their goal was to bring someone in, help foster their career growth and expose them to new experiences that will long term bolster their career forward.
It was a very refreshing and honest approach.
As an agency Leader, it's unrealistic to expect someone to stay with the business forever. It's a great trait to be able to acknowledge this and one that I think will attract great people & foster a great team culture.
If you're a junior looking to join a great agency who encourages career growth - get in touch, I know a great agency who is hiring! ✨
When it comes to hiring, what #skills are important to consider for future company growth and change? 💡
For us at Spotted Zebra, some the key behavioural traits we assess for (in our own hiring processes) are:
✨ Ambition
✨ Agility
✨ Affiliation
This is just one part of our 'Right For' model, which helps us assess and validate a candidate's potential to adapt in the future, as the role and/or the organisation changes 🚀
(On the hard skill side, we recently assessed our dart throwing skills 🎯 - still pending validation on that one 😂)

Earlier today, I shared the story of one of our team members leaving Modi Toys last Friday. We knew the day was coming for months so we had been prepared with his replacement, who was fully trained. In fact, this new hire seemed so promising that we began envisioning his path to promotion.
But, as luck would have it, he pulled a 180 on us. Didn't show up to work last week, stopped responding to messages, and didn't return any calls. We spoke to his wife, so at least we knew he was well and alive, but she didn't offer much details about his whereabouts.
Struggles like these don't get the spotlight because as small business owners, we're often busy putting out multiple fires at once (oh BTW, did I mention we're out of stock on 2 of our best selling items during Prime Day??!)
And on that note, we're hiring an Operations Assistant in Edison, NJ, if you know anyone that may be interested! Must be reliable (we don't like surprises) and have great communication skills (because we don't like being ghosted either).
Full job description here -
In hiring, every choice is a step toward your company's future.
When we bring someone new on board, it's not just about filling a gap in the team. It's like planting a seed that will grow into a key part of our company's story. Every new hire shapes who we are and what we stand for.
So next time you’re hiring, think about it: You're not just adding to your team; you're investing in the future of your brand.
