Starting the week with the official release of the Autodesk AEC Data Model API! This makes granular data accessible to all Autodesk Docs users. The API has been in the hands of beta customers and partners for some time, and we are seeing it open exciting possibilities. "We’ve been able to reach 60% more structured project data using the API... This means we can glean cross-project insights from more quality data and offer automated client delivery in a standardized way": from Josha van Reij at Arcadis Access to granular data is a big shift toward a future where the right information is more easily accessible for every project stakeholder in the tools that they use daily. There is tremendous opportunity for developers to build extended workflows with the AEC Data Model API that solve specific industry challenges and ultimately enable projects to be delivered with high quality and less cost and waste. Last year, we launched the AEC customer advisory boards, creating a forum for rich dialogue and interchange with constituents across the industry. We sought our customers' guidance on what technology investments could have the biggest impact on their business.
