German tech market insights: November 2023 ❄️ So what is November looking like so far in the German tech market? For candidates one word: OPTIONS! The majority of the Software Engineers I am speaking to at the moment have got 3-5 interviews on the go and this is much closer to the candidate driven market we saw across 2021-22. So how is this affecting companies? Just made your dream developer an offer? Well, its not guaranteed they will accept... they could have 2 or 3 other offers and will have far more choice than at any other point this year. My advice to companies: if you like a candidate, try to ensure you move them through your hiring process as fast as you can. The tech companies which are the most agile will be the one's to succeed next year. What can we expect in the final month of the year? Heading into December is probably the best time to hire tech talent. There is less competition and there are plenty of good developers looking for work. If you can pick someone up now they can start before March giving them most of the year to get acclimatized to their new role. #germantechnology #techhiring #marketinsights
