Daily, we're inspired by the further development of #AutonomousMobility solutions at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich as our community member embotech utilizes our tarmac as a testing site. A spin-off of ETH Zürich, Embotech was founded by Dr. Alexander Domahidi in 2013. It recently celebrated its 10th anniversary and now employs more than 70 engineers, software engineers and visionaries. In 2021, they won the Swiss Technology Award. At Mika we are passionate about creating new products that drive value and sustainability. For the new era of transportation the stance is that the goods is the value. Taking that stance results in a different path for the solution. In fact such a solution, without the driver centric approach, is 50 percent less cost, 50 percent less CO2 for production (less complexity) and of course electric in operation. Also much lighter. Huge news, and a major milestone for Oxa! Following years of innovation and pilot projects, we made our first commercial deployment of passenger-carrying shuttles operated by a third party. Oxa Driver is now deployed in passenger shuttles operated by Beep, Inc. at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Once we were asked to operate there, it's worth noting how quickly we were able to deploy. Thanks to our mapping and virtual route testing solutions, the shuttle was able to operate autonomously on its first lap of the campus route. This is Day 1 for commercial autonomy at Oxa. Now you're going to see us scaling up repeatably and efficiently. We’re advancing the state of the art, and demonstrating the transformative power of autonomous vehicles to enhance mobility and safety, and to enable applications that simply wouldn’t otherwise be feasible.
