THIS should tell us all something. Trump is a danger to ALL. Those who were on the INSIDE saw this. Rarely can we rise as ONE Nation. We must vote for President Biden. Not voting for Trump is not enough. We face dangerous and pivotal times. Frankly, I can think of no one better than Joe Biden at this moment in our history. Only Biden has managed to get Republicans to do ANYTHING. And now that seems done with events in the House. Only Democrats are willing to act. What's needed? 1) Biden re-elected 2) Democrats take House 3) Democrats keep the Senate with enough votes to alter the filibuster. THIS is the only road forward. Together WE Can.

AS THE WORLD WATCHES If responsible Republicans want to salvage their dying party from further ruin, thanks to the anti-democratic agenda of Donald Trump and his MAGA movement allies, House Whip Tom Emmer should run for speaker to get whatever Republican votes he can muster in these dog-eat-dog fruitless catfights. If those votes fall short, he can partner up with Democrats to make up for the needed additional votes to win. That's called "bipartisanship." At least it would make it clear to the American people that the GOP majority in the House of Representatives actually cares about their country and them. It would also make it clear to those enemies (like Russia, China and Iran) who want America to fail, that we stand strong together as a leading light for freedom and democracy. It's time for Republicans to fall in line. Let's stop the ridiculous partisan power games and get on with the business of governance. Does that sound like too much to ask? Thank you, Ken Lagasse.

Two things they will have to do... 1- Shackling Trump both with the media and with the courts, 2- A strong democratic candidate to replace Biden as a rival to Trump.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—Donald Trump won Michigan’s Republican presidential primary Tuesday, marking the fifth straight victory for the former president in this year’s major nominating contests and delivering the latest blow to Nikki Haley’s underdog bid. The Associated Press called the race just after the polls closed, moving Trump closer to a historic rematch with President Biden in November’s election and heightening pressure on Haley to bow out. With 60% of the expected vote counted, Trump led Haley 68% to 27%. Trump’s dominance in the first contests in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina, and now Michigan, have given the former president an air of inevitability and knocked Haley, a former South Carolina governor and United Nations ambassador, into also-ran status. Michigan will be a key battleground this fall, so primary results will be analyzed for what they might forecast. The state backed Trump in 2016, before flipping back to Biden in 2020.
