Joe Biden’s support in deep blue New York has been steadily eroding, causing political operatives to panic.
The president’s aides have committed no significant resources to a state where they expect him to easily win all 28 electoral college votes.
Yeah, people have this tendency to think of the political leanings of particular states as static; only a handful of states are "swing states" and the rest of them, we know which way they're going to go. And that's more or less true within the span of a given election cycle, but over time they do in fact change, and it's something that's worth keeping an eye on. In the 1960s the "big six" (swing states) were New York, California, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Three of those states are now seen as dependably blue.
Current digital hostage by far right terrorist and insurrectionists hate groups locking me in a grid. Need immediate help. See posts. EMERGENCY ACCOUNT - DO NOT REPORT TO BLOCK OR CUT COMMUNICATIONS
You should checkout the redlining going on in Southern California by the Skinheads holding me digitally hostage and running a racketeering ring that also redlines communities and vast territories, going on foot decades now and ran largely by a massive crime family that's been after me since I was a kid. See my profile posts and Twitter X under @nutmeg1978 . Feel free to be my voice as I have none thanks to their crime ring and having me in a very robust hostage grid along with others, plus hacking etc. TRYING TO GET FEDERAL HELP
More federal support for state programs would go a long way towards helping. I encourage you to "buy votes" with an appropriate level of social services.
NYers need to ask: What has the party of Joe Biden done for them but use their state and cities as test points for their radical agenda? Trump 2024. Now more than ever.
Today I helped launch the first Bloomberg News/Morning Consult swing states poll of the 2024 presidential election. It's different from most other polls out there because of its large sample size, its questions on the economic issues households are facing and its focus on the seven states likely to decide the 2024 election: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
What we found: Former President Trump is leading in five of the seven swing states, though all are within the margin of error. Swing state voters trust Trump more on economic issues. And Trump is making inroads among union households.
In the coming months we'll go deep into the data to explain how economic issues are driving the election in the states that matter most.

Recently on Fox Business Network with Neil Cavuto, I talked about how the 2024 Presidential campaign illustrates the political theory that it's better to blame than boast. Despite the many achievements the Biden for President campaign can boast about like the Pact Act, Inflation Reduction Act, and Safer Communities Act, candidates often focus on faults rather than accomplishments. Let's not fall into the blame game trap—demand politicians talk about solutions, not just problems!

Even if DICTATOR FOR A DAY (sounds like a Trump TV show, "You're fired...from America!") were legal, an Emperor, any emperor, never, ever takes off the cape and crown of royalty. The latter too is prohibited by the Constitution.
It's that document that Trump wishes to abolish or ignore so, on his first day if he wins, he'll order all Cabinet and other agencies to investigate and prosecute Trump's opponents and even his critics to carry out his obsession with vengeful payback.
No more than one day is needed to destroy the Constitution if MAGA encourages the public as well as the president to defy it. One more deliberate mass attack on the democratic Constitution--that's the end of the Bill of Rights.
Trump doesn't even need a whole day to fire government folks and order them to boost him by changing into political hacks for MAGA.
The American Caesar's new crown, imitating his fascist hero Putin the Russian Czar, will then represent rounding up and "neutralizing" anyone, anytime who defies despotism. Trump has already proposed still one more unconstitutional act (not mere speech)--using the US military to discipline or deport or jail his enemies, or worse.
Whether Biden and Harris have figured out Trump's imperial plan, as it's backed up by most Republicans and the Supreme Court's extreme far-right majority--is unsure and troubling. Trump already has the one-third of voters who are subliminally trading in their traditional Jesus-centered evangelism for a much more macho "savior." A real king kicks butt.
But the most powerful (and illegal) monarchy and fascist hierarchies have an ally that's prohibited from combining with the State--religious MAGAs.
SCOTUS is leading the way on violating that linchpin of democracy (as revealed by Alito's Dobbs Opinion), though separation of church and state was "originally" intended to equally protect religion from the secular State as well.
Those of you who also worship the 2nd Amendment--which I support in its original formulation and purpose as overseen by the president--must realize that breaking apart the Bill of Rights leaves it open to dropping or diluting (pre-Scalia) their delusion of an "absolute" 2nd Amendment.
No tight Bill of Rights means...a vague and confusing 2nd Amendment, which, in a dictatorship of one day or a lifetime (much more likely timing), will mean precisely what the dictator wishes it to mean.
And no one knows the consequences of MAGA's attempt to abolish the "deep state," though today our State is very shallow compared to how deep a totalitarian state will be.
A really deep state is based on lies and violence and secrecy; dictators who might not allow you to bear arms that could be used against them. No fascist government has yet to allow personal, lethal weapons.
And the NRA is fading fast as its leaders face trials on corruption charges.
The NRA was the foundation of the true, violent and secret Deep State.

Exit take from David Frum in The Atlantic: The Art of No Deal; The Republicans who won’t take yes for an answer.
Donald Trump has sold his supporters the dangerous fantasy that democratic politics can be replaced by one man’s will. No need for distasteful compromises. No need to reckon with the concerns and interests of people who disagree with House Republicans. Just somehow return Trump to the presidency: He’ll bark; the system will obey.

"Any weakening of resolve or lack of clarity about the task ahead only helps Trump and hurts us."
So it’s Biden and “them” that are “us”??? Who is running the country, “them”? Who are they? Anyone who hates Trump or his administration? Anyone have any ideas? I’d hate to think this election is only about beating Trump no matter what, even if it means handing the reins of the country over to Kamala Harris over the next four years? That’s more scary than Biden or Trump to me. This election can’t just be about them and us as that is what has divided this country. Vote for the candidate with the policies you support and pray that the Democrat party can replace Biden with a capable candidate that is physically capable of presiding over the country for four years. Ignore the media, the narratives, the personalities, and focus on the issues! Economy, border control, Roe v. Wade, gender identity, etc etc etc. we need a capable leader that can maintain world peace, maintain our economy and environment in a balanced manner, maintain law and order, and most importantly, maintain the freedoms that are country was founded on.

You should all share this article with everyone you know. Indeed, everyone--liberals and conservatives alike--needs to focus on this unique threat to the future viability of America. And Democrats need to stop all in-fighting and join with sensible Republicans to halt the very real possibility of this country becoming a dictatorship. https://wapo.st/47QyFY1
Our former president and his fanatical MAGA Republican supporters are taking the GOP Party down. The Republican Party leadership is certainly to blame for not being able to stand up for what is right, catering to the extreme right wing, and not offering anything to the ~60% of us in the middle of the political spectrum.
“Around the nation, state Republican party apparatuses — once bastions of competency that helped produce statehouse takeovers — have become shells of their former machines amid infighting and a lack of organization.
Current and former officials at the heart of the matter blame twin forces for it: The rise of insurgent pro-Donald Trump activists capturing party leadership posts, combined with the ever-rising influence of super PACs.
The demise of the GOP state parties could have a profound impact on the 2024 election. Operatives fear that hollowed out outfits in key battlegrounds could leave the party vulnerable, especially as Democrats are focusing more on state legislative races. Traditionally, state parties perform the basic blocking and tackling of politics, from get out the vote programs to building data in municipal elections.”
