Trust among team members is an essential component of effective teamwork. Iis the biggest asset that a Team enjoys. It is the foundation upon which successful collaborations are built. Without trust, team members may feel hesitant to share ideas, collaborate, or rely on each other, which can negatively impact productivity and project outcomes. To develop trust among team members, it is important to: 1. Communicate openly and honestly: Encourage team members to communicate openly and honestly with each other. Create an environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing their thoughts and opinions without fear of judgment or retribution. 2. Be reliable: Consistently follow through on commitments and deadlines. Dependability is crucial in building trust among team members. 3. Respect differences: Acknowledge and embrace diversity among team members. Respect each other’s differences, including their unique perspectives, skills, and ways of working. 4. Practice active listening: Actively listen to each other during meetings or discussions. This shows that you are engaged and invested in what others are saying. 5. Give credit where credit is due: Acknowledge and give credit to team members for their contributions and achievements. This helps build a sense of pride and trust among the team. By cultivating trust among team members, you can create a culture of collaboration and accountability, allowing the team to achieve their goals effectively.

I am so grateful for this man of mine. He is my best friend and greatest supporter in life. We have more good days, more healthy days, more intimate days, and more quality time together when we both are doing the work to be better versions of ourselves. It’s the best! 🙃You can be spending a lot of time together without actually being present - ie, thoughts about everything else going on, always on your phone, exhausted, nothing left to give, etc. You deserve to take care of yourself so that you can be present and enjoy your time, and the people in your life ALSO deserve that version of yourself. 🔥Moral of the story: taking care of yourself is unselfish and not taking care of yourself is selfish. MAKE time for yourself. If you need help with this, comment below.

The email address you use for your job applications might seem like a small detail, but it can be quite telling. In HR, every element of your application is scrutinized, including your email address. Here's how certain types of email addresses can impact our decision on whether to proceed with an interview: Too Casual or Inappropriate: Email addresses like surferdude42@provider.com or giggles123@provider.com might not convey the professionalism you want in a workplace setting. Overly Complex or Unprofessional: It's challenging to take seriously an email like crazychick1995@provider.com or john.doe_the_greatest@provider.com. These can suggest a lack of judgment regarding professional norms. Outdated Email Providers: An address from long-abandoned providers might hint at a reluctance to adapt to new technologies, which can be a red flag in dynamic industries. Tip: If your current email address might raise eyebrows, it's worth setting up a new one that includes just your name or a simple variation thereof, such as j.smith@provider.com or elizabeth.brown@provider.com. This small change can make a big difference in how HR perceives your application. #HR #JobSearchTips #Professionalism #CareerAdvice #BoardwalkHR
I’m incredibly grateful for the people who’ve spoken into my life when I needed it the most. I’m a firm believer that there are people in your life who have a destination to get to… that won’t get there without your help.

Product & Design Leadership | Service Design | Product Strategy | User Research | Change & Transformation
Great leaders lift up those around them. Not everyone is used to this, I've had teams initially suspicious of me when I have raised them up and supported their growth - they weren't used to it. I've also had managers who have questioned why I'm promoting the development of my teams 🤯 I'm extremely proud of all the people I have found, mentored and managed over the years. They have continued to blossom and are doing amazing things. Leaders always lift their teams and enable their people to do great things. Poor, middle managers (or want to be managers) who are out of their depth control teams, claim their successes and hold them back from achieving great things. In doing so, they damage the individual, the team and the business. #shame When businesses focus on digital transformations they often forget about people transformations. If you don't have leaders (in title or behaviour) who back people, and most importantly trust each other, you don't have any teams and that's bad for business. #buildingstrongteams #peopleareyourbusiness #growth #ceo #coo #designyourbusiness #digitaltransformation
