Like the internet in the late 90s, generative AI is currently in its "wild west" phase from a regulatory standpoint. Government and business leaders are collectively grappling with how to safely use this transformative technology. Some industries have minimal concerns about gen AI and are rushing to adopt it as quickly as possible. Others, like finance, healthcare, insurance, and the public sector, have been much more concerned about its usage, especially from a data management and cybersecurity standpoint.
