Yeah, great innovation… I can already see how emotional spirits living away from each other would make use of it to try and save their marriage or long distance relationships…this is totally wrong… Elon Musk was right… Artificial intelligence is wicked…and a technology like this combined with artificial intelligence would evolve the wrong path… Let me give you a heart breaking example of why this technology is BAD for your mind… Imagine having a sick mother of which life is not long left, where family would make it possible to see it more often in that box …. The day she won’t be reflected in the box you will realise she was never there and you was never close to her… I don’t want to start religious topics, but sometimes, with this kind of technology I want to believe we actually create what devil wants…Self Destruction Technology… When AI would control these projections…it would be the end of trust in this world…no nearby person will be accepted next to you, and we already seek to be away of each other since covid…imagine a world where you can’t trust anything moving next to you… I believe that human mind is not capable to adapt to this technology…depression, anxiety and trauma will increase making use of holographic tech

The Holobox is designed to foster a feeling of closeness and interaction. However, its realistic images might heighten the sense of absence after use, leading users to possibly avoid the recurring sadness. Also, as familiarity with the technology grows, its initial charm and emotional impact may diminish.

Holograms significantly enhance remote learning by creating immersive, three-dimensional educational experiences. They enable life-sized, real-time interactions, making remote education more engaging and interactive. This technology can revolutionize access to education, allowing for holographic teachers and immersive AR content, thus bridging the gap between traditional and remote learning environments.

It gives me that uncanny valley feeling. They are sort of in the room with you but they are locked in a glass box like a fish tank or like a child’s doll on a shelf

I've seen one in action. Between the not few interruptions it suffered due to reasons unknown to me. After 10 minutes you start to wonder what's the point and why people don't just stream in a video-chat session. The people in front of the camera are not trained to look at or work with a camera. Their full body is continuously visible, they're standing upright (!??) and clearly feel awkward. Even confident people often seemed like they wanted to run away from the experience and felt deeply annoyed with how exposed they are. Nice gimmick, I don't see it survive beyond that. Maybe for medical applications with remote diagnostics or something. Not much else can come to mind.

Pascal BORNET This sounds amazing, but will it be budget-friendly enough for households to afford it? To begin with, corporates would be the early adopters and wouldn't mind the cost. Taking it to the household level would be a challenge considering the cost and overall setup. I think something that can work through mobile devices just like multiple applications leveraging Augmented Reality or something similar could really prove to be a game changer. Thoughts?

I wonder if it would work in glass sided- back and side trucks like these: https://lime-media.com/custom-glass-box-trucks/

Legalization of holograms: Access to private education will be as legal as access to public school education. As long as holographic lessons repetition of original lessons becomes legal, we'll be able to learn anything inside high schools. I think that we don't have to go anywhere to have an academic degree.

I am sure this will be a consumer product not very long from now akin to purchasing a large screen television. Also I believe this will be heavily used by companies and which may create a level of disruption to business travel.
