Hello Mark !!! great presentation. Congratulations!
Healthcare Fintech Sales & BD Professional with Years of Group Health and Medicare Expertise.
1dOscar's inevitable success comes as no surprise with Bertolini at the helm. This is not lip service for I've experienced it from a "boots on the ground" perspective. For a majority of my 17 years sales tenure at Aetna, he was president then CEO. As I've progressed through my career, I see his influences on healthcare. Most relevant to me and those in IFP / ICHRA space is his calling, which started back in mid 2010's for a focus change from employers to employees in addressing the woes of group health insurance. During an all employee meeting, I recall him speaking about this @ Hartford. At the time it was so idealistic and hard to comprehend how put to practice. But since then I've come to understand that this employer to employee focus shift actually started under Ron William's and his fostering of CDHPs, by empowering employees with more tools and choice. Williams, as CEO was responsible for bringing Bertolini to Aetna. It seems that had a shared vision which Bertolini is now advancing. As a US Army Gulf War Vet and fellow motorcyclist, I had the opportunity to ride with Mark during an Operation Rolling Thunder bike rally in DC. This is why I say success is no surprise for his grass roots relatable demeanor was on full display.
