Cybersecurity Blind Spots: Are You Underestimating the Risks? The report highlights a dangerous mismatch between perceived preparedness and the evolving threats. Here's the data to support that claim: -Cisco's Cybersecurity Readiness Index paints a concerning picture: Only 3% of organizations globally have achieved mature cybersecurity readiness. -This alarming statistic comes despite a staggering 54% of surveyed businesses facing cyber attacks within the last year. -Threats now include: supply chain attacks, credential stuffing, social engineering, and the growing weaponization of AI. -Industry matters: Financial Services, Technology Services, and Manufacturing demonstrate higher readiness, raising concerns for other sectors. The general conclusion is that traditional security approaches are no longer enough. The Cybersecurity Readiness Index report reveals a landscape where threats like supply chain attacks and AI-powered exploits are on the rise.
