Compare and despair This is a common thinking style that affects our confidence and self esteem. We all know how social media can impact our view and assumptions of what is real. However, comparison can also be within ourselves. Are we matching up to the milestones we set ourselves and are we beating ourselves up unfairly? It's good to set ourselves goals but hold them flexibly and focusing more on the values these goals represent and appreciate how we are working towards these goals rather than a fixed outcome.
