We'd like to thank one of our incredible supporters, Intopia, a leading digital accessibility and equitable design agency. Unfortunately, blind and vision impaired people know all too well the struggle of entering a website and quickly discovering the content is not compatible with a screen reader. Thanks to Intopia, organisations can ensure all digital content is accessible, as it should be.

Who designs websites for the visually impaired? Creating a digital realm inclusive of legally blind individuals is not just a regulatory requisite but a social responsibility. This guide encapsulates 10 essential things to keep in mind when building a website that is not only compliant with standards but also user-friendly and navigable for the visually impaired community. WCAG Compliance: Align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) to make your website universally accessible, targeting WCAG 2.1 AA or AAA level compliance. Screen Reader Compatibility: Tailor your site to be fully compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies by providing meaningful alt text for images and well-structured HTML. Keyboard Navigation: Ensure every feature is accessible via keyboard alone, catering to users who rely on keyboard navigation over a mouse. Color Contrast: Employ high contrast color schemes to aid users with visual impairments in distinguishing different page elements. Text Sizing and Scalability: Make text resizable or scalable up to 200% without compromising functionality or clarity. Focus Indicators: Implement visible focus indicators to guide users through the page as they navigate using a keyboard. Accessible Forms: Design user-friendly forms with clear labels, intuitive navigation, and comprehensible error messages. Multimedia Alternatives: Offer captions, transcripts, and/or audio descriptions for multimedia content, making information accessible in multiple formats. User Testing: Engage users with visual impairments in the testing phase to gather insightful feedback on the accessibility and usability of your site. Continuous Monitoring and Improvements: Utilize automated accessibility testing tools and regularly review your site for enduring accessibility as it evolves. By meticulously following these suggestions, you are not merely adhering to legal mandates, but significantly contributing towards a more inclusive digital world where websites are accessible to all, regardless of visual ability. #InclusiveDesign #AccessibilityFirst #DigitalInclusion #WebAccessibility #UserExperience #LegalBlindnessAccessibility

Unfortunately, without a business description or distinguishable content differences between the provided images, I'm unable to describe a video. The images given all appear to be identical screenshots of a mobile interface for a review section within an app or website, with no reviews currently listed. If there are specifics you’d like to focus on or if there’s another context you can provide, I would be glad to help narrate that for you. Immerse yourself in a world of endless possibilities with our captivating visuals! 📸✨ Each image tells a unique story, waiting for your narrative touch. From sleek mobile interfaces to interactive review sections, the canvas is blank for your creativity to shine. Let your imagination run wild as you guide us through the realms of innovation and design. 🌟

It's not a secret that when you work in a startup things change FAST. You work in a project for quite a bit, just to realise it is not what is needed right now (2 months ago yes, now no). So you adapt. You move. You reprioritise. You become agile, adaptable, and reaalllly good at developing a solid gut-feeling on what needs focus. Oh, and let's not forget - developing precise communication manners so that teams across departments are aligned. But if there's one thing that is difficult to do whilst working in a startup ↓ It is to pause, and reflect. Celebrate small wins. We recently consolidated all our content efforts that help teams, agencies and creators win on LinkedIn on our website (for FREE). → https://lnkd.in/eUh6VMCy ← That's a lot of content, and we did it, and it looks mega cool. So yeah... there still is a lot to do. But at least for today. I'm proud. ___ big shoutout to Joseph for the amazing work on the visuals & Olga for this beautiful web design. #corporatecreator y'all hear more soon. #weareshield #content
