If you are open to receiving help from us and want to remove the burden of having to find funding, visit us at https://aurel.llc What are grants? Grants, a crucial funding source, are sums of money various entities offer for specific projects or causes. Unlike loans, grants are non-repayable, making them an attractive financial aid option. Commonly awarded based on need or merit, they can be instrumental in fields like education, research, arts, and nonprofits. However, acquiring grants can be challenging due to competition and stringent application processes. It's vital to comprehend their nuances, including proposal requirements and potential consequences for non-compliance. While typically associated with the government, grants also come from private organizations, broadening the funding landscape. In essence, grasping the intricacies of grants ensures informed decisions in pursuing financial support for diverse initiatives.

Small businesses & nonprofits hold our communities together. That’s why we’ve increased our EmPOWER grant this year to up to $6,000 per organization – and we need your help to get the word out. Think about the companies who were just surviving, now being called to offer relief services with extended hours. Think about those providing food, shelter, healthcare, showers for #mauifire survivors. Think about those looking for warehouse/office spaces and finding that affordable leasing = old, aging facilities & equipment with super high electric bills. To help one is to help an entire community, so if you know of a nonprofit or small biz that needs this support, please share. InsurTech Talent Expert and Recruitment Lead for Telematics, I.o.T, Connected Car and Big Data Analytics organisations.
Today is National Number Day!! 🔢 A strange day in the national calendar but one that is pretty important to me and has been coined by NSPCC in order to celebrate their amazing work. I'm not a numbers person myself, certainly not naturally gifted in that arena. Although an area of development over the last few years. So, an acknowledgement to all my contacts who are all about the numbers and keep the UK ticking over through accurate calculations, modelling, analysis and insights. For anyone looking to improve their numbers game, I'd recommend 2 books to read: 📚 - Measure What Matters by John Doerr - showed me I don't need to be a numbers expert to be successful. But must know what is important and progress must be measured. - Deep Work by Carl Newport - Once you have the data, helps to focus on improving the numbers through the noise and distractions. In our challenged economy and our continued cutting of public services, charity organisations like NSPCC and your local council provide unmeasureable value and protection to those in need. 🧒 I have included a link below if you would like to donate. Or if you see a collection pot over the weekend, be sure to donate what you can. Finishing on my daughters favourite joke.. Why is the number 9 so Sassy? Because she can't even. 😎

DUE DILIGENCE: THE HOW TO OF PRO BONO Let’s be honest. As both the need and demand for financial literacy increase, so too will the good will and community outreach of financial advisors. But the good intentions of pro bono work may not meet the advisor’s or the recipient’s expectations. That’s why the plans for donated services should be negotiated, and even put in writing. Because…. Neither party should feel their expectations were unfulfilled. Advisors should not feel they were unappreciated, or “abused”. The recipient should not feel they were being “short changed”, even though they were not billed. Requests for Pro Bono work may exceed your ability and capacit, to deliver it, or may come at an inopportune time. Negotiating expectations will clarify these constraints. Neither the advisor nor the recipient should feel that the Pro Bono work is less valuable than comparable, compensated work. Negotiating the scope of that work is a message to both parties that value is defined, even if not financially rewarded. Finally, develop a formal policy specifying the types of recipients you will serve and those you will not. Otherwise, potential recipients who are denied the Pro Bono work may feel unjustly cheated and may communicate their feelings publicly. Bravo for Pro Bono work. But merge your compassion with due diligence and transparency. Both you and the recipient will benefit. #philanthropy #probono #boardofdirectors #financialliteracy #bankingindustry #outreach #financialservices

Award Winning Host Jewish Money Matters Podcast 🎤🏆 + Creator G-d Wants You To Be Rich Program 💰💰💰 + Money Coach changing the financial lives of Jewish women and couples 💑 💵 + Dubbed "the Jewish Oprah"✨
This financial exercise is well worth your time! If you haven’t done this yet, it's STILL a terrific time to do it! 1- Calculate the total dollar amount of charity (maaser, chomesh, anything above that) that you gave this year. 2- Use that number as a starting point to now project. Ask yourself: "what dollar amount do I want to commit to this year?" Push yourself to make that dollar amount be above last year's, as well as above what your maaser (or chomesh) would be. 3- Write your new number for this year. Sign off on it. Tell G-d (and your spouse of course! YES, this whole exercise is BEST done with your spouse! ) 4- Think about your commitment. Smile. Thank G-d for the opportunity. Smile some more. And go have a great year w confidence that you're going to do everything within your power to make that commitment and that G-d will help you because you have made it. Trust your Partner. Go! Do you do this as well? lmk in the comments. Got questions? ;-) I'm here!
