The circular economy is not only becoming good practice for sustainability strategies but it's also a lifeline for so many; and it needs driving forces behind it's investment. That's why Comic Relief and former Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, are urgently looking for brands and organisations that want to support the expansion of The Multibank Initiative. The idea is simple: companies have the surplus goods people need and local charities know the people who need them; The Multibank initiative connects the two to reduce the effects of both poverty and environmental waste. If your brand or organisation would like to find out how you can be at the forefront, drop me a message or email partnerships@comicrelief.com (spoiler alert - it comes to me both ways!)
Calling all businesses, we need you! Last week we announced something we are very proud of. Maybe you saw it in the news? Former Prime Minister, Gordon Brown and Comic Relief are launching an urgent appeal to big business, philanthropists and local UK charities to support the expansion of The Multibank Initiative to meet the growing needs of families in poverty across the UK. Families are in crisis across the country. Millions are struggling to get by and afford the basics to keep themselves and their children warm, clean, and healthy. We must establish critical lifelines in more communities across the UK. Together we can ease the pressure and help make life better for those facing the toughest times at home. If you or your organisation are interested in supporting us with the expansion of the multibank initiative, please email partnerships@comicrelief.com to find out how or for more information 📧

The "Golden Hour"—the critical first moments after a road accident—can determine a victim's survival. In emergencies, precious minutes are often wasted as bystanders take photos instead of acting. HEI is working to change that. We're collaborating with partners to train community members and officers to be effective first responders. Dr. Abigail Mkperedem emphasizes the importance: "Emergencies can happen anytime, anywhere. We need trained responders in every community, so no one has to die because help wasn't given promptly." Join us in creating a community of lifesavers, not bystanders. 👉 Partner with us: https://bit.ly/4crWBm2 #HEI #EmergencyResponse #SaveLives #NonProfit #Nigeria
