🚀 Launch time, folks - Stay tuned this month as we unveil our 5-Step AI Playbook for Execs and debut our incredible team! A little over a year ago, I started building in public here on LinkedIn as an experiment while leading AI and ML eng projects for companies. The response was awesome, especially to the posts about the "5-Step AI POC Framework" that emerged organically from my hands-on, Python-based AI software engineering curriculum 💡 We took that framework, applied it to various projects and teams, and refined it into the "5-Step AI Playbook for Execs". We learned that the biggest hurdle to unlocking forward progress was actually organizational. The biggest request was from non-technical leaders asking, "Where do we begin with AI ... not only building for customers, but for our org to leverage across disciplines so teams can be more effective?" Similar feedback even came from sr software engineers in our AI eng course, "We learned all these skills now to build next-gen AI, but how do we educate our management to see the benefits and drive an AI-first culture?" Keep in mind my perspective, which you've all heard many times here, is that AI is simply a tool that makes collaborating more effective and systems/processes more accurate--in addition to new product. The real AI gains are organizational collaboration and effectiveness. 😃 I'm very excited to launch this 5-Step AI Playbook for Execs and our intensive 1-2 day AI Exec Course! The playbook even includes a case study series of videos based on a real-world example. More to come, stay tuned this month right here and follow. We'll unveil everything first for the Day One LinkedIn network that's been so awesome to us! Thank you for all the feedback and making building in public such fun. Exciting times ahead and hope you can join us on the ride going forward! 🎉

Want to build better software, faster? Today, I'm sharing three statistics from McKinsey (linked below) that help explain why we're so passionate about this work. 1. Software developers can complete coding tasks twice as fast using Generative AI 2. Developers who use generative AI are 30% more likely to hit their commitments 3. Developers using generative AI were more than twice as likely to report overall happiness in their role. These incredibly powerful results are why we're pursuing our goal of cutting the time to working software in half by AI-enabling teams. If you'd like to be part of that journey, grab the Leader's Guide to AI-Enabling Your Team at https://lnkd.in/gT9J5TEK #ai#agile#agilesoftwaredevelopment#productmanagement#productowner#productowners#productownership #scrummasters #agilesoftwaredevelopment And here's the source for the stats: https://lnkd.in/gV2-sc_9

I often get asked "Will AI replace engineers"? My response? We're combining forces. Well! the thing is Generative AI has arrived on the scene, and its implications for software engineers cannot be overstated. What does this mean for engineers? ↪️Faster output ✅Copilot by GitHub autocompletes code as you type. ✅This can boost productivity by over 30% per developer. ↪️Error reduction too ✅GitHub found Copilot slashes bugs by up to 39% compared to unaided human coders. ✅Higher quality code shipped faster as a result. ↪️Expanded capabilities ✅AI suggestions expose developers to alternative implementations they may not have considered. ✅Constantly learning new techniques and approaches accelerates skills. Of course, generative AI does have limitations currently. Critical thinking and oversight is still required to validate results. But rapid advancements are unfolding. Over the next decade, programming directly from descriptions instead of coding line by line is on the horizon. Engineers may end up managing fleets of AI doing the hands-on work. The era of AI assistance is here. Smart adoption by forward-thinking developers is the way to remain relevant. What are your thoughts? Is your team starting to leverage generative AI? #generatieveai #mlmodels #copilotstudio #codingmagic #developercommunity #developerproductivity #rapiddevelopment #aiassistant
