New Landmark at NTHU! 🎊 Congrats on the inauguration of "Mo-Jen Wang and An-Yi Chou Literature Building"! Inspired by Mo-Jen Wang's novel "Lower Stratum," renowned architect Sheng-Yuan Huang crafted this literary haven.🌳 It's set to be a hub for promoting Taiwanese literature at NTHU. Donated by honorary doctor and novelist Mo-Jen Wang and his wife An-Yi Chou, the building was commemorated with a beautiful gilded ceremony. An-Yi Chou hopes this building will be a sanctuary for literature lovers and a meeting place for scholars and writers, hosting permanent literary lectures. President W. John Kao encourages everyone to take a break from their screens and visit the building to engage with literature and nature. 👀 Highlights include open theater space, exhibition rooms with Wang's manuscripts, lecture halls, and more. The long-term vision includes international writer residencies, celebrity lectures, youth workshops, and global literary exchanges. 🚶Next time you're at NTHU, stop by the building to enjoy the breeze, cicadas, and aromatic trees. 🏞️ #NTHU #LiteratureBuilding #TaiwaneseLiterature #CulturalHeritage #LiterarySanctuary
