I love this matrix from FW (Future Women). Many of us (myself included, when I'm in my own head) hold ourselves to a different standard than we would other colleagues, expecting perfect outcomes every time. When I make an error, the question I try to ask myself is "will this matter in 20 years' time?". Nine times out of ten it won't. Future Women helped me and many other women by helping us maintain and build connections during and post-Covid isolation and providing so many valuable learning and development opportunities to benefit current and emerging professional women. If you're interested in building your networks, I recommend checking their website. #bekind #futurewomen #connections #womeninleadership #womeninbusiness
We REPEAT, be kinder to yourself ❤️

⭐️Life Coach / Workplace Wellness Coach / Freedom Programme Facilitator / Mindfulness Practitioner. Oh, and...Recruiter! 🤗⭐️
Wow! Explains A LOT! Stopped me in my tracks. Thanks Holly Morris & Alex Partridge for sheding light on something thats been niggling me for years! For as long as I can remember I've questioned how long things last (degrees, course, etc). ⏳️ Or once the dopamine rush of a new creative idea has worn off, how long will it be before I hit the crash? 💥 What happens if this idea takes off, I go full throttle, create a whirlwind and then lose the drive & let people down? 😵💫 When I was barely conscious of this, I would seek out people who could enable me to get the idea across the line, or who could deliver on a idea (& therefore less flakey than me). Ive come to realise theres a couple of issues with this; 1) my dreams & goals are my dreams & goals. Yes, leverage other people's skills to realise your dreams BUT its a fine line between blending skills and expecting others to do it for you. And, I suspect I used the excuse to seek out 'help' as a deliberate attempt to avoid the uncomfortableness of having to do it myself. Subconsciously sabotaging the idea to stay 'safe'. 2) The idea that I can't follow through or that I have an untrainable skill gap is misguided self awareness. Someone, somewhere, at some point in time, may have said something which I chose to internalise as 'I cant'. I looked for evidence to back this up by replaying unhelpful scenarios & tagged those memories with the label of failure, none finisher, needs help etc etc It's a fine line between knowing your abilities so you can find complimenting skills and letting those lacking skills shame you.... As part of my mindfulness practice I remind myself everyday of my gifts of creativity and my thirst for inquiry. I'm a creator and my medium for delivery is self expression. Managing ADHD shame & over thinking is a life long practice. My brain feels like a sandstorm of ideas. I just can't follow up on all of them. But, whats the rush....?? Sure, i risk some ideas falling by the wayside but, my purpose is to keep creating and keep expressing. And, what was meant to be will follow with perfect timing. ♾️😍
Perfectly explained Holly Morris ❤️

Best place to celebrate a birthday!! All jokes aside, Kwik Trip seriously is the greatest gas station around! The Kwik Trip mission is to treat others as they would like to be treated and putting the consumer at such a high priority has made the chain thrive to the noteriety it has now. Given the lengthy process and supply chain of getting gas all the way to your local station from the ground of which it came, profit margins on gas are low. So low, that gas station owners can really only make their money from the goods inside the building they sell. “So what makes it so special?” Great question reader, and it is because Kwik Trip has taken out the complex supply chain of its products inside the store and sources a lot of them directly from a Kwik Trip owned kitchen. This doesn’t only make their goods delicious, it makes them extremely affordable too! We eat tasty treats, Kwik Trip still makes it’s money. This can be contained by a tight-knit geographical leash which keeps Kwik Trip mainly in Wisconsin. That turns the focus onto a narrow number of areas within the business such as food quality, cleanliness, and customer service which gave Kwik Trip the #1 spot of gas stations ranked by USA Today. In my 22 years on this Earth, I have never gone into a Kwik Trip and had a negative experience with an employee. That confidence probably comes from child care, healthcare, scholarships, 40% profit sharing, and recognition programs among many other benefits available to their staff. Regardless of what Kwik Trip does or does not do great, there is plenty that we can learn as businesspeople about how putting the consumer first instead of analyzing their consumer habits and manipulating them can really help a company thrive. The welcoming atmosphere at Kwik Trip is no joke and paired with Midwest hospitality it becomes unbeatable, so I get why this guy would want his birthday to be there!
What a great way to celebrate a birthday! Happy Birthday, Cooper. 😊 🎉

Logistics can be a servant industry. It can also be a partner industry. If you act as a servant/order taker, you accept what's given to you. Customer says, "Hey, I need a box truck for these 15 pallets." And if you're an order taker, you say "You got it, boss." If you want to rise above being a servant/order taker, you need to become an industry partner. Customer says, "Hey, I need a box truck for these 15 pallets." And you say, "Customer, unless those pallets are stackable, you're going to need a dry van. How does that work for you?" The difference between the two is the ability to make suggestions.
Just gonna leave this right here.........

We just watched a life changing movie together Gods going to put you in front of the right movie, the right environment, and the right people, at the right time. Thank you Jennifer Bet-David for having us be apart of celebrating your birthday and being with our loved ones for Valentines! ❤️ Here are a few takeaways from Cabrini: 1. Begin the mission and the means will come 2. We can serve our weaknesses or our purpose, not both 3. There will be a time where you have to face your fears, and lead. Whether the leader is there or not, you must continue the mission 4. We don’t get to choose how we come into the world, but through God he gives us the freedom to choose what we do with it 5. We are bold, or we die 6. If you want to get sh*t done, always go to the decision maker. Find the who to get the how. 7. When you operate like your life is on the line, you can change the world in 2 years. URGENCY AND INTENSITY.
