AI video for everyone 🙌 AI generated videos using the static AI images I generated earlier today. I used Luma Dream Machine and while not close to Sora level, it is available for anyone to use right now. 👉 Luma Dream Machine 👈 lumalabs.ai Yes, these videos were all cherry picked 😅 No, this isn't open source 😔 OG post of static images 🖼️ https://lnkd.in/ebnKTg8R Note: The cute bunny at the end is my wife's beautiful painting, don't worry she suggested it. 🎥 Videos stitched together in DaVinchi Resolve 🔊 Audio by All Good Folks #luma #ai #artificialintelligence #texttovideo #texttoimage #video #davinchiresolve

AI Film progress will not replace Human expertise! AI will expand human capabilities but never replace them in any artistic field. I find the advancements in #AIFilm genuinely fascinating. The video example showcasing AI-generated cinematic sequences is impressive, although I remain skeptical about whether it will entirely replace the expertise of experienced professionals. I am cautiously optimistic about the potential for AI tools to enhance human knowledge and improve the processes of film and content creation. While AI may enable cinematographers to develop personalized cinematic styles, human input will remain crucial. The integration of AI technology in the film industry, advertising, and music videos is undeniably reshaping the landscape of content creation in 2024. AI is being utilized to enhance visual effects, streamline editing, and even create virtual characters. However, using AI for casting and creative decisions based solely on data analysis raises some concerns. While I appreciate AI's ability to assist with video editing and complex visual effects, I believe that human intuition should continue to play a pivotal role in making creative decisions. The personalized content and advertisements tailored by AI algorithms for specific audiences raise questions about the potential impact on human creativity and individual choices. The strategic adoption of AI in creative fields is revolutionizing content production and consumption, and I am keen to observe how this trend will evolve. As I explore AI's increasing role in replacing human creativity, I am grappling with the profound question of how it will impact the preservation of humanity and individual choices in artistic content. I am considering both the potential dehumanization of fine art and the positive impact of technology on the growth and sustainability of demand for artistic content. The quality and creativity of AI-generated art, as well as the value placed on human creativity, will significantly influence my final decision. I believe that if the creative industry and various artistic endeavours, including painting, writing, music, and content creation, are deeply influenced by AI algorithms, It is essential to maintain a balance that preserves human creativity and individual choices while embracing technological advancements. #AIFilmmakersBillofRights #AIFilmCinematic #AIContent Reuven Cohen Greg Mitchell Rick Lemmons Alisée de Tonnac Garrett Thierry, M.B.A.
Luma AI DreamMachine now has an option to add an "end frame" to set how the motion ends. Here's how to use it to create more consistent videos. After testing a total of 40 generations, the results were: 24 👍 and 16 👎 Notes: -The more similar the image pair is, the easier it is for the motion to align smoothly. -Anything over a 90° turn, e.g., profile to frontal view, will likely fail. -The first and last second of the generation is where the image is consistent with inputs, and the 3 seconds in between are where the glitching happens. -The prompt is still symbolic; the input image mostly determines the motion speed and direction. Thoughts: A great feature for those of us who want more accuracy, especially in scenes where the range of motion is minimal. Keep character and style consistent for the best outcomes. Have fun using this ! Images: Midjourney Edit: DavinciResolve Footnotes: The 40 tested image pairs were with varying Difficulty. The more images were apart in terms of character likeness, composition, camera angle and environment, the more difficult it was considered. #artificialintelligence #generativeai #ai #filmmaking

In 10 years time will most of our TV shows and movies be AI generated? The Luma AI DreamMachine shows us that full-length movies generated 100% by AI are a lot closer than you think. While this demo just shows a video being generated from two seperate AI generated images, it won’t take much more innovation to automate this across a storyboard sequence of these. And the technology to get these avatars to talk with authentic voices and realistically moving lips is almost there already. Given how much easier, cheaper and faster it will be to create movies this way, compared to the massive logistics and costs of conventional movie operations, it is inevitable that the vast majority of movies produced in 10 years will be done this way. Indeed, a conventionally filmed movie with real actors will become relatively rare, just at the end of the bell-curve. The opposite ends of the curve will most likely be: 1. Indie movies that are created by artistically purist story-tellers, who enjoy the process of doing it all for real, and fuelled by a sense of nostalgia and perhaps even anti-tech/neo-Luddite sentiments. 2. The entertainment studios that see the commercial benefit of having a few costly real-world “stars” that they can use for commercial purposes. Indeed the cost of creating movies this way have historically created the barriers to entry that have enabled their profitability.
