This summer, Origin Healthcare has recruited four interns to have the chance to be part of contributing to several company initiatives. Say hello to our new intern team! 👋 Our interns have dived into their roles, gaining valuable skills and insights in their first week! Here’s how we’re taking these lessons forward: #1: Roadmapping 🏁 Starting an internship can be daunting, but mentors Hailey How and Christine Lum Lung, introduced a transformative approach: working backward to set goals. By focusing on the end results and planning steps to achieve them, interns learned to manage time and structure responsibilities effectively, turning initial uncertainty into an organized and enriching process. This strategy will provide an efficient means of project progress. #2: Ownership of Our Work 🔑 Working at a startup with founders from prestigious backgrounds could be intimidating at first for interns who are beginning to sharpen their expertise in the field. However, the mentors encouraged the intern team to take full ownership of their projects, which gives us a sense of larger responsibility and leadership for our work. Because of this responsibility, we take pride in our work and strive to deliver the best results!
