Some context to go with the image below from National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) !
Not often do I get goose pimples at an Award Ceremony, especially overseas, but today I did. The ceremony for Time Dealer of the Year, showcased so many exceptional dealers. Not their day to day performance, which is a given to make the final short list, but what they do for their communities, their staff, their customers and the industry. To hear the receiving speech from Rita Case, was inspiring. I literally had goose pimples. What a woman, what an industry, what an inspiration to grow with our industry staff and people. Never has supporting and training our people been so clear as to what positive results can be achieved.

If you need a jolt of joy and a virtual fist bump 👊 you need to check out this video!
Here’s a story that will brighten your day...meet Azai, a young guest whose favorite store is Target. He loves visiting T-0966 in Huntersville, North Carolina and goes out of his way to greet his fellow shoppers with a friendly “hi” and plenty of fist bumps. (And anyone who knows me, knows I appreciate a good fist bump!) To show our appreciation, we made Azai an honorary team member, and store director Tammy Jackson made sure he had everything he needed to feel part of the team—red shirt, name tag and a roll full of stickers. Thank you, Tammy and team, for creating this special moment for Azai...and thank you, Azai, for giving us all one more reason to smile today!

Yesterday, I visited Taco Bell for the very first time! 🍴🌮 and saw the line on the table "When was the last time you did something for the first time?" This simple yet powerful question mirrored my thoughts on the significance of trying something new in our personal and professional lives. In sales and negotiation experts, we often stick to proven methods and strategies. However, true growth and innovation come from stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing new challenges. Trying something new not only brings excitement but also opens doors to endless possibilities. Whether it's a new dish, a fresh approach to sales, or a bold negotiation tactic, innovation often starts with the willingness to explore the unknown. Taking that first step into the unknown can lead to remarkable outcomes. Let's commit to pushing our boundaries and seeking new experiences. Don't let fear hold you back. Challenge yourself to take that first step, and watch how it transforms your journey. #NewExperiences #Innovation #StepOutOfYourComfortZone #SalesTraining #NegotiationSkills #FirstTime #TacoBell #TrySomethingNew

Nearly 3 years ago I began my adventure at Britvic as the Supply Chain Capability Manager. During covid, home schooling (as a single parent) with Teams calls to build rapport; it was a unique start. There was no handover or blueprint as the role didn’t exist previously, but I’ve worked hard as a voice for SC development. What an incredible period it’s been for me both professionally & personally. I’m super proud of what I’ve achieved, experiences I’ve had & the development & growth this venture has enriched me with. I’m leaving my role with the resources needed and structure in place to continue the hard work ensuring Supply Chain development is recognised and maintained. Some of my biggest learnings have come from the multiple diverse challenges that have stretched me in ways I’ll always be grateful for. It’s funny that as a Learning professional, I’d almost ‘forgotten’ that very often our most impactful Learnings come from places & times we least expect them. What I’m most thankful for about my time at Britvic is the phenomenonal people I’ve met, I’ve made deep, meaningful relationships & feel privileged to have met some very special individuals who I know will be life long friends. Very grateful and excited for my next chapter. I’m excited for the opportunities I’m yet to discover within my new role at Suntory #learninganddevelopment #growthopportunities #britvic #values #leadershipjourney #supplychainmanagement #stretch #proudmoments

Supply Chain Efficiency | Sustainable Packaging | Problem Solver - Creating Customized Programs for Every Business
Teamwork makes the dream work! ☑️ Also, there is nothing quite like bringing one of your work besties on a tour around a local manufacturing plant - Art Rouse!! Here’s why: 1) Having a few different perspectives on a tour helps identify from a few sets of eyes where we can help solve challenges with our customer 👀👀 2) It shows the customer we are investing our time and effort on fully understanding their challenges 💪🏼 3) We make this a learning experience for both of us to grow in our profession 🤯 Important to note: Always make the customer aware of who you are bringing and why so they are not overwhelmed! It shows you are cautious of protecting their time and are showing full transparency. Happy Thursday from another day at the office working for Crown Packaging Corp. 👷🏼♀️👷🏻

Getting your product to your consumer! Day 3 Hosted by Marks and Spencer at their Marble Arch store - things got very real! Kicking us off was Lauren Mallon bringing real energy and honesty in sharing her career journey - important theme being just how far attitude takes you in unlocking breadth & experiences. Hantian Wang brilliantly brought to life the magic of range & spacing - how to stand out and insight into what your customers (Buyer) are prioritising. Our teams were joined by some outstanding graduates Niamh Timpson Hannah Connolly Gregor Munro Millie Stewart who took our teams to stake out different channels (Stores, Restaurants, Pubs etc.). Prompted some excellent thinking around the right channels for the right brands. This is part of the magic of the industry: it's so very relatable and the deeper you dive, the more interesting it becomes. Our delegates felt the same - teams were getting strategic about who was staying/who was going: there's some tension brewing with laptops being slammed shut as soon as anyone who isn't in your team approaches! A huge thank you to the team Marks and Spencer for a brilliant and thoughtful experience - particularly Becky Cock who took the reins mid-way through and delivered such a cracking day. Over half-way now! The energy levels have been sustained, the quality questions keep coming - what a treat to have a front row seat! Psalt
