In the movie "3 Idiots," the character Ranchoddas "Rancho" Shamaldas Chanchad challenges the conventional definition of a machine during a classroom scene. He suggests that a machine is not just about gears and motors but includes any device that makes a task easier. Rancho emphasizes the importance of innovation and understanding the true purpose of machines rather than memorizing textbook definitions. There's also this other character Viru Sahastrabuddhe, also known as Virus, who gave a conventional definition of a machine during the same classroom scene.
