This is me doing something new. But also finally doing something I attempted to do, but was too scared to do, ten years ago.
In college, I went around vlogging, no thought, no plan. Even though I knew how to plan content and manage multiple social accounts at a big network. I vlogged (and fully edited) my experience, and never hit publish. A creator who has spent 17 years on social media with millions of followers told me I would be great at being an “influencer” and to actually post what I had been working on. But I was insecure and doubted my own voice. A voice that has otherwise been strong, determined and fearless.
There have been moments since that I have talked to the camera, or shot and edited something artful. I have spent years helping notable figures and influencers with their content creation. And I have been a cheerleader for my own friends as they became rising influencers. I have had many others tell me I need to be in content, not just behind the scenes. And I spend an absurd amount of time consuming content. Now after living a bit more, I know how valuable life is, and how taping one’s journey could potentially be positive and impactful for others.
Cut to late last year, finally fed up with my self constraints - the excuses of perfection and rejection of my own voice and value, I decided to change that. It’s still taken a lot of convincing of myself and trusted others. But I’m not creating “art” or perfection. I’m not planning to curate to an algorithm (at least not yet). I don’t have a posting schedule, frequency or know if this will last. But I am embracing honesty and simplicity - and why not? I have no plan other than to be myself, and discuss whatever I want to, as I feel so inclined. So indulge in my experiment if it interests you.
Why you should care about all these internet things? - Because
1. Your patients are very active on internet (social media sites).
2. We believe only thing that matters after your experience is the trust you have with your patients.
3. Get visible to more eyeballs.
4. Get more people interested.
5. Convert more patients.
