It has been 30 days since joined Bitly. My biggest takeaways are: 1) People are everything - I have been fortunate to inherit and continue to build on a team that inspires me daily. The connective tissue that the orgs share are strong and the people first mentality is felt throughout the company. 2) The opportunity is MASSIVE - Companies continue to look at ways to connect to their customers and Bitly fills that void by offering the ability to build tight relationships that allow them to curate that bond in a meaningful way. 3) Sieze the moment - The time and demand from the market is strong. As we continue to establish ourselves as the market leader, we have a path ahead to capitalize on the momentum we have built. Small levers will lead to growth as we continue to focus on our customers first mindset. It's not everyday you get to be introduced alongside two amazing partners in Sam Oh and Katherine Ryan. Just finished an unbelievably incredible week with the amazing Vistage Worldwide, Inc. Chairs of Memphis, TN. Thanks again Bently Goodwin, Bob Moore, and John Salajka! I can't thank them enough for the opportunity to work with their members on more effective ways to lead, support, and develop their salespeople and sales leaders. We discussed what the salespeople of today want (it may not be what YOU THINK they want), how to provide consistent and relevant training, and how to effectively recruit, interview, assess, and hire top performers.
