Day 60 of #100daysofcode challenge
Today was really long because I decided to deploy an existing web app I had created during a course I was taking.
I discovered that the app wasn't mobile-friendly, so I decided to make it responsive. I accomplished that without any difficulty. After making it responsive, it was time to host it. The app was initially built with a locally hosted JSON server, and it was challenging for me to host it while ensuring it worked with the server because the app depended on data from the server.
After spending several hours trying to resolve this issue, I decided to create my own JSON server. I successfully hosted it and used the API in the app instead of relying on the locally hosted server.
This was an amazing experience for me because I had never created an API before. The feeling was awesome.
Finally, I hosted the app, and here's the live link: [React Worldwise App](https://lnkd.in/dGG_ErS9).
Also here's the link to the json-server on github https://lnkd.in/dHiZ5z8U
Today was truly tiring but productive. I learned a lot. Tomorrow, I'll continue learning how to build a professional app from scratch.

Here's a 3-minute documentary as an answer to the question "why does peaq exist?"
In short; to power the next generation of real-world facing apps, like Silencio.

I do love an interactive map app :) https://shademap.app/ Some of my favourite projects have involved mapping.
My time spent in Toronto winters has taught me how important the Sun is for warmth and mental wellbeing. This helps avoid the worst spots of downtown ;-) #interactivemaps#maps
Knowing where seagrass isn’t can be just as useful as knowing where it is…
Did you know you can now upload absence data to SeagrassSpotter? If you know where seagrass used to exist and now no longer does, let us know at SeagrassSpotter.org or via the app 🔎🌱
Google IO 2024 just revealed the power of #WebAssembly, use the power of LLMs directly on the browser. This is not the only use case for WebAssembly. Its portraying the web development to whole new level.
#Flutter team is already using it in its rendering engine CanvasKit, It uses skia to render the web pages, a library written in c++ compiled to #wasm (WebAssembly) is powering the most efficient rendering engine.
The list is not over, try out #WebContainers from stackblitz, it empowers to us to the run entire node js natively in the browser, give it a try
https://lnkd.in/ev66-Emu#Angular shipped its latest playground functionality on #webcontainershttps://lnkd.in/eg-XC-qt
Try running LLM model in your browser

Try this out (a web app full of graphics runs flawless on web which would otherwise be possible on native mobile apps only)
https://lnkd.in/ehmeUnvJ#WebAssembly is the next big thing for web. Almost all modern browsers have support for it as of today.
Have you tried playing our online #H4G game about Liberec? 🤔 If not, now is the time! The game "Dancing in Time" is available through the web app! 👉🏻 https://h4gg.eu/
The game will take you through 14 stops around Liberec. You will walk a circuit that is less than 8 km long and look at places you might already know but from a slightly different perspective. 😊 The game can still be modified and improved. If you want to help us let us know what you think about the game via the form:

Join Aleksander Lubych as he takes you through a rollercoaster ride with hybrid apps. 🎢 He shares why we went hybrid in BEC, the highs and lows, and how it stacks up against market standards. This talk aims to be a catalyst in understanding the 'Hybrid Revolution' sweeping through modern app development – the revolution happening in our industry, bringing the best from web and native. 💻
Shoutout to our very own Aleksander, sr frontend developer, for his debut on our BEC stage during WarsawJS #110! 🔥

Why settle for the status quo when you can plant trees? 🌳
For the first time ever in the EU, you’re being proactively asked which browser app you’d like to have on your phone.
This may seem small, but it's a big step forward. In the past, big companies like Apple and Google would select your browser for you, often leaving you in the dark about all the other options out there.
Many of us would simply stick with Safari or Chrome, never bothering to switch.
But today, this week, or in the coming weeks, you'll see a pop-up on your phone asking you to choose your default browser.
One of the options will be Ecosia, the only search engine on the planet that harnesses 100% of its profits towards climate action 🌏
So when this choice screen pops up on your phone with the next update, my hope is that you'll choose Ecosia, and join us in our mission to reforest the planet.
