The new Greater North cluster will merge dentsu’s markets in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan to form one management structure with Jennifer Tang as the new CEO. Together with Tang are Joshua Wong as CFO for Greater North, Chu Yin Mak as CEO for China, Simone Tam as the new CEO for Greater Bay Area, and Donna Kim as CEO for Korea. What a week in Malaysia with the ASEAN marketing senior leaders from all our business units. We spent 3 days with the fully engaged team to focus on penetration growth strategies and putting the consumer at the heart of our brand strategy. We gave the team some practical frameworks to identify the right business question, unlock hypotheses, data mine without the chaos, find the tension and unlock the insights. All of our brains were fried at the end of the three days but the teams were fully motivated to start the brand planning with a more consumer centric approach. From the practical exercises we did, inspired by the data packs, we were able to start to see some fantastic new business leads for our brands growth. What a team!
