as a #brand and #communication #marketer, when companies stray from a stated value of authenticity, it breaks #trust and that's hard to re-gain. As a Delta Air Lines million miler and either platinum or diamond status for last ten years, last week's announcement about changes to SkyMiles could have been handled so much better. It left a bad taste and made me question what I've believed about the brand for so long. Great article here in Adweek that talks about the #corporatecommunications principes of #accountability #empathy and the importance of being responsive to customer feedback.
