We are pleased to announce the appointment of Anju Rao to the role of Chief Science Officer. She officially joined McCormick and assumed the CSO role on June 24, 2024. In her role, she’ll lead the company’s Research & Development, Quality & Regulatory, and Science & Technology functions globally in service of our company’s operating plan and strategic priorities. Dr. Rao is a senior executive leader with strong scientific expertise and a PhD in Food Technology from Clemson University. Prior to McCormick, she served as an international senior leader in the food & beverage industry, leading Global Product, Quality, and Regulatory teams. Anju is also Chair of the Board of Advisors at the University of Georgia Center for Food Safety. Please join us in welcoming Anju and congratulating her on this appointment.
