This is what I would do If I had to start my business from zero today Hindsight is always 20/20, right? Raise your hand if you can easily ramble off 5 things you would do differently given what you know now. My hand’s way up in the air over here! Here's what I'd do today if I were starting over from scratch: 1. Create systems to help me run my business with ease from day one. 2. Set boundaries on my time and energy. 3. Engineer my business to work in tandem with my life. 4. Prioritize areas of impact. 5. Reflect and celebrate my wins big and small. Most importantly, I'd focus on one thing instead of spreading myself thin chasing every latest, greatest strategy. And I’d get hyper-focused on the parts of my business that make money. And we honestly get one thing REAAALLLY wrong and I want to caution you against this. When your main pipeline of clients are individuals - whether they are small business owners or clients…it’s easy to judge your worth and your value based on what others can afford. What's It Like to Run a Business with Your BFF? People often ask me this. Olga and I have been best friends since we were 10. We went to the same school, moved from Poland to the UK together, and now live just a 10-minute walk from each other in South London. And yes, we run a business together. Do we find it too much? Sometimes people wonder. Like anything, there are ups and downs. But for us, it's a fantastic way to spend time together, doing what we love. When we were younger, we'd spend almost every minute together - studying, partying, working. Now, with families in the picture, hanging out isn't as easy as it used to be. Running a business together? It's our way of keeping that connection alive. It's about growing, laughing, and facing challenges side by side. For us, doing business with a BFF is the best thing ever.
