Verian Group's latest UK election poll clearly shows voter priorities but marked differences in the relative importance of key issues becomes apparent when looking at how people voted in the 2016 EU Referendum. Perhaps unsurprisingly Leave voters are more likely to prioritise immigration compared to those that voted Remain: Immigration is the most important issue (31%) in this election for those that voted Leave in 2016, followed by the economy (27%) and the NHS (25%). Among Remain voters, the economy and the NHS are the joint most important issues (35% selecting each) in this election, followed by the environment (11%). Only 4% of those that voted Remain cite immigration as the most important issue when deciding who to vote for. #VerianData #UK #VotingIntention #GeneralElection

Morning all, happy Friday!... Or is it? A general election will always split a room, it's certianly not a topic I would like to have brought up on a date 😂 However, seen as it's still a working day and the morning where I'm sure many of you reading this will still be in the office, I'm interested to know your thoughts. When it comes to investing, what are your plans for the coming months? 1) Do nothing, wait to see what happens. 2) Take action! Invest now into a completed property for immediate rental income of around 7%+ which in general is historically high! 3) Take action! But invest into a high fixed return (15%+) option mitigating your downside but perhaps missing out on aggressive growth. 4) Take action! Invest now into an off plan property strategically timing your investment waiting for interest rates to be cut. You can buy 6 months out (taking advantage of the autumn cut), 1 year out or 2 years out if you also want to factor in flexible payment plans where you can put as little as 5% down in some cases. If you're interested in having a chat with a senior advisor who has helped people invest in UK property for the past three decades let me know and we can set up a time next week. #UKelection #UKpolitics #UKfinance #interestrates #Labour
