The level of interest in the new positions we have opened at FAST is impressive! I am happy to see the level of interest. I would like to offer some suggestions to everyone, some of which are also good for other companies. If you do a search for hardware positions there are probably more than 200. It is almost impossible for me to know in detail all of them. The best way is to apply via our careers website, as you can imagine we have staffed our recruiting team to be able to support all these open positions, which are all listed at careers.facebook.com This is the quickest way for it to be considered by our recruiting team. Applying directly will also give you an edge: it'll show you have done your research and are really interested. This is your first test as a candidate! And this is the interviewing skills recommendation: When I hire someone I want to see people who are motivated and determined, people who when hired will be driven and go find ideas and information. If you just send your resume, without having done any research, I'll be more inclined to think you're the type of employee who will need to be told what to do at every stage of their career. If you on the other hand do your research and apply we will know that you are someone motivated!

Anyone who really put a chip in production knows that having a good DFT team is as important as having a good design team. Savita leads a very good DFT team, amplifying this to help her make it even better!

I want to give maximum visibility to this post by Malachy Moynihan. To everyone who was impacted by the #metalayoff please allow me to assist by connecting and introducing you to anyone in my network.
Thinking of all the talented Meta employees impacted by the lay-offs this week. Sharing helpful resources below hoping to help as much as I can: 1. A spreadsheet that allows anyone to add in their leads for opportunities and job roles + voluntarily add their contacts if they are open to being contacted. https://lnkd.in/d2_zxtua 2. A spreadsheet that impacted Metamates can fill out with their information if they'd like to be contacted by recruiters. https://lnkd.in/d7RKagBk 3. Useful resources going through uncertain times https://lnkd.in/d3chnDHG .

The Facebook Agile Silicon Team (FAST) is growing! Specifically, we are growing our SoC design capacity. I am now #hiringengineers for all chip design positions for our Architecture-to-GDS SoC execution. I am looking for SoC Design, Verification, DFT, as well as chip leads and design managers. If you want to work on creating chips that will enable the next computing platform, we need engineers at all levels of experience, from proven chip leads and design managers to all levels of individual contributors. In our teams, your mind matters more than knowledge. If you're smart, don't worry about what's written in the Job Description, we need good people who want to grow and are willing to learn. The best place to find the open positions is careers.facebook.com, but if you are interested in SoC-level design and don't find a match feel free to ping me directly. We have positions in Sunnyvale CA, Redmond WA and Austin TX

My team at Facebook Reality Labs is hiring - we are looking for embedded software engineers with a wide range of experience and skills. In particular, we are looking for experience writing firmware for custom silicon and working with embedded machine learning, computer vision, security, or audio. Here's the basic JD, but we definitely have roles for experienced engineers, leaders, and embedded software architects as well. https://lnkd.in/gMU4qdN
