See below (attached image) one of my favorite periodical sections included in our DeepCast DeepDive weekly newsletter. Those who know me know I'm a book junkie (along with news and podcasting), so this is section is clearly a reflection of my own personal preference. Guilty as charged! Oft times it's all about building what you want for yourself and what you know... Sign-up link for the newsletter in the comments below... #AlwaysBeLearning #TopBooks #Podcasts

I love putting this together personally every two weeks. I re-explore our own product, DeepCast, as with fresh eyes and find new interesting tidbits or ways to find compelling podcasts to listen to. This week it was cool to show off top Deep Dive podcast subscriptions. Deep Dive is our daily digest feature that summarizes all of the podcasts you're subscribing to in a simplified and concise fashion for scannability to (a) decide what to listen to for the day, (b) decide what you might come back to later, and (c) stay abreast of your favorite pod coverage even if you don't have time to commit to listening to an episode or two. The newsletter sign-up is here: https://lnkd.in/gmZXB7YR
Subscribe to our Deep Digest newsletter: https://dpcst.ai/m/social Some good fodder for why in the images below! Has anyone else heard reports of widespread malaise in the workforce because of lack of mobility options? ADP reports fewer promotions AND voluntary departures, while managers share concerns about worker morale. ... Silent resignation part two? No good.

Amen. Couldn't have said it better.
JJ Redick to the LA Lakers is a 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆. Let’s look at the timeline: - JJ was a decorated college player at Duke from 2002-2006 - He played in the NBA for 6 teams from 2006 to 2021 - In 2016, JJ started podcasting (stints with Yahoo! Sports and The Ringer) - In 2020, JJ leaves the Ringer to start his own media company - In 2021, he is hired by ESPN as an analyst - In 2024, JJ Redick is hired by the Lakers with 0 previous coaching experience (besides, as the memes of yester-week showed us, as coach of his son’s 4th grade youth team) JJ has crushed the podcast game - he has hundreds of millions of views/listens across platforms. He’s used content to demonstrate his knowledge of the game. Content creation is what put JJ in this position. Yes, he had the foundations of credibility from his playing career, and that gave him a massive head start when he entered the content game. But he still had to make the content and be the best at it. Now 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝗱𝗰𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗔 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀. This is a massive W for content creators everywhere. The #creatoreconomy is changing - it wasn’t that long ago that content creators were an afterthought. Now they’re everywhere: moving stock prices, coaching NBA teams, owning companies, acting, and everything in between.

I really AM proud of these pages... and we'll be working in more ingress points to navigation/discovery by topics soon enough!
We're pretty proud of the rapidly evolving Topics pages in terms of really helping you decide what route you might want to go with episode or podcast discovery for any given topic. Example for Artificial Intelligence: https://lnkd.in/guhNwUYn #podcasts #knowledge #curiosity #serendipity

Sheyda D. Nick Loui Chelsie Hall - I thought you all would really enjoy this recent episode from The New Yorker's "Political Scene" podcast... WIRED's new "Politics Lab" would be right up your alley as well. This idea that a third of Americans get their news primarily through TikTok scares me... "Should I pay for WaPo/NYT/WSJ account for another month or sacrifice Hulu/Peacock/etc.? Bye bye, news!" :/
