To my hiring managers reading this... You need to streamline your interview process! 𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 places have 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 interview stages. This can hinder your chances of getting the best candidate for the role. Any more than 2 stages, the candidate may get disengaged and you’ll find that the top talent will be snatched up for another opportunity. So, slice the process down to 2 stages max. And if you have someone who ticks all the boxes, don’t hesitate! How many stages have you got in place right now? Do you agree with me? #Interview #Hiring #RecruitmentAdvice

During an interview process, no news is bad news. Companies move fast on candidates they like, all other candidates that match the hiring profile will be put on ice until they fill the position. Momentum is telling, so don't slow things down for opportunities you have to chase down. Remember, time kills all deals. #jobhunting #jobsearch #interviewtips #interviewing #interviewprocess

Below are a few tips for a speedy interview process: ➡️Interview fewer candidates (only the most qualified) ➡️Be prepared to make an offer before the interview ➡️Consolidate interviews so the process is shorter ➡️Ask specific work-related experience questions (no fluff questions) ➡️Bypass unnecessary hiring steps (reference checks)…who gives a bad reference?!?! We don't find candidates. Instead, we help companies find the ideal person with the exact skill sets you need using #recruitment strategies so efficient, people will ask how you got so brilliant.
After over 40 years in the staffing industry what do I consider as is the most powerful closing question to ask as a candidate at the end of your interview? "Based on our conversation today, is there anything about my background or qualifications that concerns you, or that you'd like me to elaborate on further?" Never forget that this strong closing question can leave a lasting impression on your interviewer and demonstrate your interest and engagement in the open position you have been discussing. This question not only shows that you're open to feedback and willing to address any potential concerns but also gives you the opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings or provide additional examples of your skills and experiences. It also allows you to leave the interview on a proactive note, showing your commitment to the role and your desire to ensure a mutual fit. #interviewing #recruitment #hiring #management #careers #jobseekers

TIP FOR JOB SEEKERS The little things go a long way! Something I've done during every interview process I've been a part of... Ahead of an interview (usually the evening before), I've connected with the interviewer on LinkedIn and sent them an introductory message. It's very short and sweet, something along the lines of: "𝘏𝘦𝘺 [𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦], 𝘏𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘴𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘳! 𝘐 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 [𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘵 𝘫𝘰𝘣 𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘭𝘦] 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 [𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘦] 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘣𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴. 𝘏𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘴 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘩" This doesn't guarantee that you'll get the job. All I can say is that I've never had a negative response from it. Good manners and a bit of enthusiasm never hurt anyone! #recruiter #recruiting #recruiters #recruitment #hiring #interview #interviews
