“Growing up I tended to not speak up or share my thoughts as they were not considered the same as others around me. Often times, I did not feel that I had the space to have a voice outside of my family community. Thankfully, I was blessed to have a family that was and is very proud of who they are and what they stand for. I leaned on them during those foundational years. I began in this industry twenty-five years ago as a seasonal associate with the dreams and aspirations to make my ancestors proud. I had no idea that my seasonal job would lead to a full time career as a Regional Director, however I now know that I am in the position to create a space that allows moments for those with a softer voice to rise, speak up, and to be heard. These spaces and moments allow me to honor those who came before me by creating a better future for who come after me.” - Josh Q., Regional Director Field Merchandising #LowesLife
I am truely interested to become part of this amazing team
The girls and I are so proud of you. The way you teach them through your heritage is inspiring and I know it correlates into the way you lead. We’re your biggest cheer leaders! You’re the best my love!
Creating spaces where everyone, especially those with quieter voices, can contribute and be heard is invaluable for fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Keep up the impactful work, Lowe's Companies, Inc. 👍
My experience at Lowes was completely different. My regional manager would not talk to me, and my asm was told by the store manager to fire me or he would be fired. Proud for you but very rare.
Now at Home Depot. They actually care about their employees.
Sounds like a great feeling to be listened too. Especially when the goal is a positive one for all involved.
What store is this
Inspiring journey.

2wI couldn’t have had a worse experience at your store in Coral Springs. I went to pick up a laundry sink/ faucet combo that I ordered online on June 23rd (because you didn’t have it in store). Yesterday, July 11th, I received an email saying it was in stock. It was brought to my car but the box looked like it had been tampered with. I opened it up and it was not as ordered. Needless to say, I was disappointed. We brought it back into the store and Yolanda couldn’t figure out how to return it because the item numbers didn’t match. She called Josh over who EVENTUALLY figured it out. When I told him about the hassles that I had with the item, I asked if he would give me a small gift card or discount because I wanted to buy a barbecue. He replied that this was bought online and therefore had nothing to do with your store. REALLY? Please call me asap at 954-734-3150 to discuss.
