17years of successful Journey...

that’s the only way

A 14-year journey comes to an end for me! :-0 … What happened? On 31 August I left Predica / SoftwareONE.   Building the company with those 3 great people over 14 years has been the greatest professional adventure I could ever hope for - rarely dull, rarely easy, often thrilling. I feel incredibly blessed to have met and worked with them and over 1'000 other people during that journey - employees, clients, partners. It would take too long to name all of you. If you are amongst them, just know that I am grateful and happy to have done a bit of that 'road less traveled' with you!   What's next? Of course there are ideas, projects, initiatives. But for the time being I'll do my best to stay less busy, do a deliberate rest/pause/reset. If you know me a bit, you know this will be a 'challenge' ;) As I gain fresh perspectives on life, business, I know that something new, exciting will emerge. I am unlikely to stay in the general IT services space - I am curious to step outside the well-trodden path I've been on in the last 20 years.   See you in the field! :)

Focusing on what you are grateful for will attract even more goodness in your life.

Far too many choose the average life instead of pursuing their dreams. It is hard to not compare where you stand from your peers. This can include your career, personal life, etc. My advice: start living every day the way you want your life to become. Be the person you wish someone else would be for you. Get up 30 minutes earlier than normal to get that coffee from your favorite coffee shop. Take 5 to 10 minutes to write down any thoughts from your day. Pick yourself back up when you fall down. Be gentle with yourself and take a deep breath when you fall into those dark, overthinking thoughts. Be patient because everything happens at the right time. Be positive and thankful. Remember to smile, laugh, and live. You are doing your absolute best. #optimisticoutlook #optimism
