A person develops Alzheimer’s disease in the United States about 65 seconds. 2. In the United States, more than 11 million people take care of family or friends with Alzheimer’s or dementia. 3. More than 6.5 million people around the world are living with Alzheimer’s. 4. Only 4 in 10 Americans would talk to their doctor right away when experiencing early memory or cognitive loss. 5.
